Clarkson’s Farm fans ‘crying’ after distressing deaths of animals in season 3

Clarkson’s Farm season three was just released on Amazon Prime, and fans who have been left distraught after watching a key moment.

Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson’s show is known for mixing heartbreak with joy, and the latest instalment is no different as fans were left laughing and crying after watching the first four episodes.

One specific scene that brought a lot of viewers to tears took place in the fourth episode when the pigs that were purchased by Jeremy, 64, at the beginning of the season, began giving birth to piglets. 

In the episode, one pig gave birth to several pigs but the heartwarming moment turned heartbreaking when she accidentally killed some of them them by sitting in on and suffocating them.

As you can imagine, this broke viewers’ hearts as the piglets’ lifeless bodies were shown on camera.

In the same episode, another pregnant pig, who was named Baroness by Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan, 50, was induced early and gave birth to premature piglets that didn’t survive – despite the efforts from Lisa and Jeremy to keep them alive and feed them from a bottle.

Baroness was then put down by the vet as she was struggling to eat or drink and rapidly getting more unwell, with a suspected incurable liver problem or cancer.

Fans flocked to social media to share their heartache, calling the show a difficult watch. ‘Episode 4 of Clarkson’s Farm is not an easy watch #ClarksonsFarm,’ said @MidgardianMatt.

@MASZYNOZNAWSTWO commented: ‘Fourth episode of clarkson’s farm was bloody miserable, I constantly felt so sorry for them and their loss.’

Another fan, @beckywi91126152, commented: ‘Clarkson’s farm is back on & omg I am crying because of the piggies ???? & the baby piglets #ClarksonsFarm.’ 

@Jamiec1233 added: ‘Very emotional and heart-breaking seeing those poor piglets sadly die, same as Baroness the mother pig before the credits went up. It’s like saying a very emotional goodbye to a dying relative at a hospital.’
