Hundreds of Jeremy Clarkson fans descended on his Diddly Squat Farm hoping to purchase the Clarkson’s Farm star’s produce.

But huge queues began to form after an unprecedented number travelled to the 64-year-old’s farm in Oxfordshire, with people reportedly being turned away.

Viewers of the hit Amazon Prime Video series from across the world flocked to Diddly Squat Farm on Saturday as part of their Bank Holiday Monday plans.

However, some would have left empty-handed as the car park was declared full by 1pm so subsequent vehicles were refused entry.

Anna, Sarah and Remi, originally from Minnesota, decided to try their luck in the queue having travelled to the farm for Remi’s birthday.

One of them joked to the Daily Mail: We got in line about ten minutes ago. We expect to get into an episode of the show while we’re in the queue.’

It was the busiest the farm has been since last summer, according to the publication.

The crowds swarmed at Diddly Squat Farm just days after Clarkson’s Farm season three part 1 dropped on Amazon Prime.

In the first batch of episodes, fans were left devastated after a pig accidentally killed some piglets by sitting on and suffocating them.

In the same instalment, a pregnant pig, who was named Baroness by Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan, 50, was induced early and gave birth to premature piglets that didn’t survive – despite the efforts from Lisa and Jeremy to keep them alive and feed them from a bottle.

Baroness was then put down by the vet as she was struggling to eat or drink and rapidly getting more unwell, with a suspected incurable liver problem or cancer.

Fans flocked to social media to share their heartache, calling the show a difficult watch. ‘Episode 4 of Clarkson’s Farm is not an easy watch #ClarksonsFarm,’ said @MidgardianMatt.’

The series also sees Jeremy and the team encounter other challenges, including a rise in prices for farm supplies and dashed dreams for Jeremy’s restaurant.

Series one of Clarkson’s Farm won plaudits for its cinematography coupled with the lovable staff unafraid to tell the presenter when he was being useless, and charted the difficulties faced by farm workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first episode of the second season of Clarkson’s Farm broke viewing record on Amazon in the UK and became the most-watched original series on Amazon, according to Barb.

It attracted 4.3 million viewers in seven days, a significant amount more than the 3.2 million who tuned into The Lord of the Rings spin-off The Rings of Power’s first episode in 2022.
