Boyband star arrested for ‘assaulting woman and child’ after 999 call
It reportedly happened two weeks ago.

An unnamed British boyband star was reportedly arrested by police for common assault towards a woman and child.
The incident is said to have taken place approximately two weeks ago.
After he was taken for questioning, he was ultimately released on bail as detectives issued a ‘Domestic Abuse Protection Notice’ which provides immediate protection following a domestic abuse incident.
The protection notice forms part of a new initiative introduced this year which allows police to give instructions to the alleged abuser in an order to protect victims of domestic violence.
Then cops then apply for a ‘Domestic Abuse Protection Order’, that allows courts to impose conditions and restrictions on perpetrators of domestic abuse.
The famed music artist is facing no charge, and the magistrate refused to grant the order against them.
In a statement to The Sun, a police spokesperson said: ‘Officers responded and spoke to a woman who said she had been assaulted by a man known to her, approximately two weeks ago.

‘Officers authorised a Domestic Abuse Protection Notice. However, a Domestic Abuse Protection Order was not granted by the magistrate.’
Alongside their music career, this household name is also a regular guest on TV shows.
