Glastonbury 2025 Saturday live: Neil Young makes dramatic Glastonbury U-turn
The Irish rap group have been at the centre of controversy in recent months.

Neil Young’s headline set at Glastonbury 2025 will now reportedly be shown live on the BBC.
The corporation previously said that the Canadian rock veteran’s set would not be broadcast live ‘at the artist’s request.
A spokesperson said: ‘We are delighted to confirm that Neil Young’s headline set from Glastonbury on Saturday will be broadcast live to audiences across the UK on the BBC.’
This comes after the BBC also revealed that Irish rap group Kneecap will be shown live on the Pyramid Stage, despite their lead singer recently being charged for terror offences.
Elsewhere in today’s festival, an all-star lineup includes Neil Young And The Chrome Hearts on the Pyramid Stage, the Scissor Sisters on Woodsies, and (my personal fave) Doechii on West Holts, among many more.
This afternoon, we’ll also finally learn who the mysterious secret act ‘Patchwork’ is as well – after Lewis Capaldi’s emotional performance last night, the favourite is now Chappel Roan, but there’s speculation mounting (in the Metro office at least) that it may be Robbie Williams.
