Hulk Hogan’s official cause of death has been revealed, after the wrestling star died aged 71.
The former world champion, real name Terry Bollea, was one of the biggest names in the sport, and most recently worked as a WWE brand ambassador.
Hogan’s family last week confirmed he had died, with the Clearwater Police Department operators stating the medical call they received was regarding a ‘cardiac arrest’.
Hogan’s cause of death has now been revealed as acute myocardial infarction, otherwise known as a heart attack, according to the New York Post.
Hogan also reportedly had a history of atrial fibrillation, which is a heart condition which results in an irregular and often rapid heart rate.
The record seen by the publication is also said to state that the former WWE star had a history of leukemia CLL, which is a type of cancer that affects white blood cells.
