Kate Garraway’s Good Morning Britain colleagues tried to get in touch with the presenter after her studio no-show this morning.

The 57-year-old is rumoured to be on the line-up for Celebrity Traitors, although the cast is yet to be confirmed by the BBC.

With filming already underway in Scotland for the series, which is hosted by Claudia Winkleman, it remains to be seen whether Kate will appear alongside other celebrity contestants.

But, speaking on Good Morning Britain today, Richard Madeley, 68, and Susanna Reid, 54, teased that their co-host could be.

Kate typically fronts the ITV show on alternate Thursdays and Fridays, but Richard said he would try to text her to find out if she is taking part in the strategic gameshow.

As Melvin Odoom was invited on GMB to discuss the upcoming Celebrity Traitors series, Susanna then would not confirm or deny whether Kate was taking part.
