Lil Nas X is ‘very remorseful’ after being charged with four felonies that could see him jailed.
The Old Town Road rapper sparked concern last week when he was seen wandering around the streets of LA, wearing nothing but his underwear.
Onlookers reportedly called police and the 26-year-old – real name Montero Hill – was allegedly hospitalized over a ‘possible overdose’.
According to multiple US publications, he was later arrested and charged over claims he assaulted a police officer.
He was held in custody over the weekend and released on a conditional $75,000 bail following a hearing on Monday.
People Magazine reports that he appeared in front of a judge where four charges were filed.

‘He’s going to get the help that he needs and just keep him in your prayers,’ he said.
‘Give him the same grace and mercy that God gives everyone.’
He went on to share that his son was in ‘good spirits’ and was ‘doing great mentally’.
‘We shed tears, we shed laughter, but he’s in great spirits. He’s gonna be great,’ he added.
The charges the rapper is facing include three counts of battery with injury to a police officer, and one count of resisting arrest.

He reportedly pleaded not guilty to all allegations, with a pre-trial date set for September 15.
Lil Nas X has yet to speak publicly over the incident but his attorney, Christine O’Connor, shared that he has strong community ties to the area.
‘Assuming the allegations here are true, this is an absolute aberration in this person’s life,’ she added, via NBC News. ‘Nothing like this has ever happened to him.’

Last week, it emerged that the star was taken to hospital following an alleged ‘possible overdose’ – after he was seen walking around Studio City in the early hours of the morning on August 21.
Bystanders reportedly contacted authorities after the He Knows musician was spotted in public wearing only underwear and cowboy boots.
TMZ reports that law enforcement officials then called for medical support, with paramedics transporting him to hospital.
