Justin Bieber has shared a bizarre message directed to wife Hailey Bieber after she landed the cover of Vogue magazine.

The Baby singer, 31, secretly married the Rhode founder in 2018, following a whirlwind romance – they went on to enjoy a second wedding celebration the following year.

Last August, they took their romance to the next level and welcomed their first child together, with the model enduring a terrifying 18-hour birth to introduce son Jack Blues.

The 28-year-old opened up about her ordeal in the delivery room, as well as her marriage to the musician, in the long-ranging interview – but her husband’s response to the shoot has raised many eyebrows from fans online.

Taking to Instagram, the dad-of-one proudly shared pictures of his wife in the pages of Vogue with fans, confessing that he once told her that she would ‘never’ grace the cover of the publication during a bitter spat.

‘Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,’ he captioned the upload. ‘I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean.

‘For some reason because I felt so disrespected. I thought I gotta get even..

‘I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even. We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection [sic].’

Justin concluded: ‘So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken [sic].’

His followers were clearly baffled by his post and quickly flooded the comments section to share their confusion, questioning why he had shared this so publicly.

Cedonifrancis declared: ‘You’re telling me too much of your business.’

Shayleepaige quipped: ‘This is like reading a Facebook post from someone you went to high school with.’

‘A simple congrats would’ve been fine I fear,’ Lailasgroove suggested.

Whoisbay agreed: ‘“I was sadly mistaken” COULD’VE STAYED IN THE DRAFTS AS WELL.’

As Yazghotb added: ‘U need some help w captions king [sic].’

Justin did share some love for the model in the interview, telling the outlet: ‘I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.’

Welcoming a new baby into the world is tough enough but Hailey feared that she could die in hospital after suffering from postpartum hemorrhage.

‘I trust my doctor with my life,’ she told Vogue. ‘And so I had peace that I knew she would never let anything happen to me. But I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind.’

Thankfully, her medical team were able to insert a painful vacuum that ‘provokes uterine contractions’ and she endured this for hours until she was finally cleared to hold her newborn.

This wasn’t the end of her struggles and, as a new mom, she contended with postpartum body dysmorphia and felt the ‘high highs and low lows’ of her hormones.

Those times can be hard enough, but Hailey was going through it under the microscope of the public eye, juggling life with a newborn and constant speculation about her marriage to Justin.

The pair dated briefly around 10 years ago, before reuniting in a whirlwind relationship in 2018 – secretly tying the knot that same year.

They held a second ceremony in 2019, but have faced intense scrutiny throughout the course of their romance.

This flared up again in recent months, with widespread concern from fans for the Baby singer’s wellbeing.

Unpacking the public reaction, at a time when the lovebirds are also trying to come to terms with having a newborn, Hailey admitted that

‘It’s not real,’ she said of most of the headlines. ‘And that’s the thing: I have a real life. My real life is that I get to wake up to my beautiful family and my son and my friends and I have people that know me and love me and I love them.

‘Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult.

‘And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, They’re getting divorced and They’re this and They’re not happy: It is such a mindf**k. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.’
