Twilight fans left devastated after ‘forever begins again’ mystery is revealed
Is it happening?

Twilight fans have been left devastated after a new announcement on the franchise’s official Instagram page was branded a ‘waste of time’.
The hugely popular vampire franchise first hit our screens in November 2008, catapulting stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to worldwide superstardom.
The saga, based on Stephanie Meyer’s book series, included five films and grossed over $3billion at the global box office – and it looks like there could be more to come…
On Wednesday, a post popped up on social media, showing the trio as Edward Cullen, Bella Swan and Jacob Black respectively, surrounded by trees and leaves.
Alongside the image, which had the phrase ’forever begins again’ across it, the caption simply read: ‘Tomorrow.’
As excitement reached fever pitch, a new upload on the page confirmed that the films would be returning to cinemas across the US – to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the first book release.
However, this didn’t go down quite so well with fans, who were convinced that a new film with the original trio was in the works.
Flocking to the comments below, Jazzydahkewlest fumed: ‘Yall had me thinking that it was gonna be a new movie or sum [sic].’
Lettyserenee agreed: ‘Bruh… y’all really starting to p**s me off had me thinking it was something special not something I watch over a billion times.’
‘Rude to not give us another ep in the saga though,’ Brookeniass said.
Maritzaamade wrote: ‘Literally could have been an email.’
‘Yes lets take a week off work and pay $100+ to watch a movie in theaters that you can watch for free at home. This makes no sense. How upsetting,’ Vicmcpherson_ posted.
As Theinkypaw added: ‘NGL, this is upsetting. The post yesterday made it seem like a MAJOR announcement. And it’s not even international.’
Many, many more were furious that the re-release is only in the US, with fans begging for the films to return in cinemas around the world.

She unwittingly found herself at the center of a love triangle with protective best friend Jacob, who later discovered he could shapeshift into a wolf.
The final installment of the franchise, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, was released in cinemas in 2012 – but there was recently chatter that we could dip into the saga once again.

Sources at the time told the Hollywood Reporter that the studio – which controls the rights to the franchise – planned to lead the development before shopping the rights to the package.
They added: ‘There is not yet a timeline for when the Twilight series will be taken out to potential buyers as Lionsgate first plans to find a writer to steer it.’
