WWE superstar LA Knight had a vital and honest moment on SmackDown which left fans emotional.

The 42-year-old megastar came out to address Jimmy Uso and recent real life rival Drew McIntyre during last night’s show, but took a moment out of the storyline to send a message to ‘all the men’ watching.

‘If I could for a second, I do need to say this. In my life, in my career, I wanna be somebody who affects good change before I die,’ he said.

‘So I’m gonna speak to all the men, all the boys here in Memphis tonight, and around the world. I mean this from the bottom of my heart.

‘If something arises in your life that hits you in the feels and you have to cry – let it out. It’s good for your mental health, it’s good for you. It doesn’t make you any less of a man.’

The powerful speech got a great reaction from fans who were moved by the very real moment on screen.

‘What LA Knight said about men’s mental health hit right at home. Pretty much what I needed to hear. I been trying to let it all out, not trying to hold back my tears. My mental health is hitting me hard because of recent events. Thank you for that promo sir,’ wrote @iamdeedj.

‘LA Knight where is this coming from…I mean you’re not lying, I’ve held onto many tears cause I didn’t wanna look weak. He’s right y’all it’s ok to cry #Smackdown,’ added @cnationmaverick.

‘Legit nearly crying at LA knight promoting crying ????,’ said @Spacefam972, while another viewer @elizabethxrosew admitted: ‘Mental health moment with LA Knight, Now I’m getting emotional..???????? #SmackDown’

While yet another fan, @HazaUTD, tweeted: ‘LA Knight taking the time out of this segment to stand up for men’s mental health is such a wonderful sight to see❤️ Don’t be afraid to cry lads we’re all human❤️ #SmackDown ‘

After that, the former United States Champion seamlessly moved things back on track with the focus on the on-screen storylines.

‘But with that said, there is a line when it becomes too much. There are three guarantees in this life. Death, taxes, and Drew McIntyre crying like a damn baby,’ he quipped.

‘My God, Monday through Friday, every single week, all you do is cry. When I walked out here, I think I heard somebody call you Drew McIncryer.’
