Netflix users can now set aside their weekend to watch the latest season of an ‘addictive’ series.
This week the fourth season of romantic drama Sweet Magnolias was released on the streaming service.
Based on the novels of the same name by Sherryl Woods and stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley as three friends – Maddie, Dana Sue and Helen – from the town of Serenity in South Carolina.
After growing up together, the show follows the trio as they ‘shepherd each other through the complexities of romance, career, and family’.
The first season was released in 2020 and has since been followed by another two, which dropped in 2022 and 2023.
Throughout the series so far, fans have called the show a ‘breath of fresh air’ and ‘guilty pleasure’.
