Charlie XCX and Jess Glynne were among the stars spotted stumbling into taxis in the wake of a very boozy Brit Awards afterparty this weekend.

Saturday night saw the great and the glamourous of the music industry descend upon the O2 Arena in London for the 2025 Brit Awards ceremony.

It was a good night in particular for Brat singer-songwriter Charli XCX, 32, who swept up five gongs in total, including one for artist of the year.

In the wake of her big win, the 360 songstress celebrated at a Warmer Music afterparty with the likes of Jedward, Ashley Roberts and Maura Higgins.

She was spotted looking bleary-eyed as she headed to a cab hours later, wearing sunglasses and clutching a bottle of Coca-Cola.

Elsewhere, singer Jess pulled her tongue out as she too left the party, along with sports commentator girlfriend Alex Scott.

Pictured climbing into a taxi at 3am, Charli was still dressed in her dazzling award ceremony-winning outfit.

Now accessorising with sunglasses and a bottle of soft drink, Charli’s outfit consisted of a sheer black gown which she wore over thong underwear and with a pair of black heels.

As she left the party, Charli covered her face with her bag, clearly ready for her time in the limelight to be over for the night.

This followed a barnstorming night for the Speed Drive hitmaker, in which she emerged as its most prolific attendee.

In addition to scooping up an award for artist of the year, Charli also won album of the year, song of the year, best dance act and songwriter of the year.

Hot on her heels was Chappell Roan, 27, who scored international artist of the year and international song of the year, while Dua Lipa, Raye and Coldplay were all nominated for top categories.

Joining Charli at the afterparty were Jess, 35, and Alex, 40, with Jess clad in a flowing orange gown, and Alex wearing a sleeveless black and white halterneck dress.

Last year, the Hold My Hand singer opened up to Metro.co.uk about making things work with Alex in spite of their often long-distance relationship, saying: ‘We weren’t together then but
it’s kind of mad when you’ve
got two people with really busy schedules – but you just make it work.’

She continued: ‘I am happy, I feel like I’ve found a really good balance in my life. I’ve got support in my family, my business, my partner, everyone around me.’

Other faces spotted at the afterparty included TV stars Davina McCall, 57, and Joel Dommett, 39, who pulled their tongues out at the camera for a selfie.

This came as they larked about with their respective partners, Michael Douglas (no, not that one) and Hannah Cooper in the hours following the showbiz event.

Elsewhere, X-Factor twins Jedward, 33, were in typically high spirits as they piggybacked on each other’s shoulders while wearing matching glittery silver outfits.

Scottish singer-songwriter Talia Storm, 26, followed in Charli’s footsteps by donning a pair of sunglasses as she too headed home, a white fur coat around her elbows as she walked off in a pair of comfy-looking trainers.

Meanwhile, model Lennon Gallagher, 25, – son of Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit – partnered his own shades with a leather jacket.

Holding onto a friend’s arm as she left the party, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, 43, was all smiles as they made their own exit.
