Claudia Winkleman’s unbelievable ‘real’ voice rediscovered in nostalgic 90s clip
It was called an 'amazing rebrand.'

The Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman has been praised for having an ‘amazing rebrand’ for changing her voice after an old clip resurfaced.
An interview with the Strictly Come Dancing host, 53, on the BBC show Good Morning with Anne and Nick from 1996 has been doing the rounds on social media and surprised her fans.
Appearing as a dating expert on the daytime programme, Claudia shared her top dating tips and her only experience of being chatted up, but fans couldn’t get over the sound of her voice or lack of fringe.
‘I can’t stop watching this 1996 interview with Claudia Winkleman that is 0% fringe and 100% posh phone voice,’ X account Shane Reaction joked.
Referencing her trailblazing mother and half-sister Sophie Winkleman, who is married to Lord Frederick Windsor, Marcus added: ‘This is her actual voice. She’s posh and is the daughter of the first woman to edit the Sunday Mirror & Express, Eve Pollard.
‘Her half-sister is married to a royal. Amazing rebrand.’
Some Claudia fans, however, disagreed and said any vocal changes were simply the results of growing older.
A baffled Lynsey remarked: ‘No why does she sound like a member of the royal family.’

‘Idk, she sounds younger, but she’s always been really posh,’ Lina commented.
Agreeing, G the Gamer backed Lina up and said: ‘She sounds exactly the same. Love her!’
Claudia’s role hosting The Traitors has been hailed by fans (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge)As well as her presenting prowess, Claudia is also a big hit with fashion fans with her extra wardrobe, which included chunky knits to an epic fringed coat CBBC’s Raven would be proud of on this season of The Traitors, and all manner of glamourous frocks on Strictly.
Claudia even revealed the celebrities who inspired her clothing choices – and some of the names might come as a surprise.
She explained that she works with a ‘brilliant stylist’ called Sinead McKeefry and they decide together who she’s ‘going to look like’.
The TV star will be back co-hosting Strictly with Tess Daly later this year (Picture: Guy Levy/BBC/PA Wire)For example, on the 2022 series of Strictly, Claudia paid homage to the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley.
However, she went in a very different direction for The Traitors – veering away from the razzle dazzle.
‘For Strictly this year it was Elvis – only as an inspiration, not literally – and for Traitors it was Princess Anne meets Ronnie Corbett meets Madonna when she married Guy Ritchie,’ she told The Times.
It would be remiss to not also mention Claudia’s signature thick black fringe, smokey eyeliner, pale lips and tan.
The presenter said that she ‘loves being orange’ (Picture: Ian West/PA Wire)‘There is no such thing as too orange,’ she said in December on The Graham Norton Show , revealing the lengths she has gone to her to achieve her look.
‘When I was a university, I got rid of the bed and hired a sunbed instead – it was super cosy, and I was fluorescent!
‘I love being orange but to scrub it off I use table salt and a scourer – I have asked my husband to do it but it’s not good for foreplay.’
