The final sum Comic Relief raised for Red Nose Day 2025 has been revealed.

Tonight’s celebration included The Inbetweeners stars reuniting as Oasis, a Gladiators sketch and a surprise appearance by everyone’s favourite The Traitors icon Linda Rands.

As it kicked off, host Davina McCall told viewers ‘we’re going back to the 1980s’, as Comic Relief is celebrating its 40th year after actor and comedian Sir Lenny Henry and Love Actually screenwriter Richard Curtis co-founded the charity in 1985.

Sir Lenny, who stepped down as host of Red Nose Day last year, also featured in a pre-recorded clip, saying: ‘A lot has changed, and a lot for the better.’

‘I can’t believe Comic Relief is turning the big 4-0. In some ways, it feels like 1985 was, like yesterday,’ he said.
