Geri Horner addresses claims she ‘legally changed’ surname after husband Christian’s sexting scandal
Geri stood by Christian throughout the investigation.

Spice Girls star Geri Horner has spoken out on claims she filed to legally change her surname after her husband’s high-profile scandal.
Last year, Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner was officially cleared of ‘inappropriate and coercive behaviour’ after a female colleague accused him of sending her inappropriate messages.
Christian, 51, was exonerated the day before the F1 season started last March following an investigation into the allegations.
His accuser appealed the decision, but almost five months later, her appeal was dismissed.
Geri, who married Christian in 2015, stood by her other half throughout the matter and has now denied rumours that she wished to distance herself from him name-wise.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, the 52-year-old blasted speculation that she was reverting from Horner to Halliwell-Horner.

‘I haven’t legally changed anything—Horner is the name on my passport.’
Elsewhere in the interview, the Wannabe hitmaker offered an insight into the couple’s home life, describing herself and Christian as ‘quite silly’.
Painting an image of marital bliss, she regaled their favourite pastimes, including walking their dogs and barbecuing, admitting they are ‘very much old-school and family-focused.’
‘We’ll find a TV series that we lock into. I’ll try my best not to watch it when he goes away,’ she shared, adding that they like playing games, such as ’20 questions’.
Geri and Christian also prefer to eat in rather than dine out in a romantic setting.

Geri shares Bluebell with journalist Sacha Gervasi from a short-lived relationship. However, Christian has now adopted the teen.
The pop star shared that her eldest is currently studying English literature, hailing her as a ‘brilliant writer’.
Asked whether Bluebell has inherited her skills from her dad, Geri said: ‘Her biological father, yes. Christian formally adopted her. It’s public knowledge.’
As for the rest of their brood, Christian has a daughter, Olivia, 11, from his relationship with Beverley Allen, a former pub landlady. He and Geri also share eight-year-old Monty, born in 2018.
Her idyllic portrayal of family life with their tight-knit unit comes one year after salacious allegations rocked Christian’s public image.

A three-week probe was conducted by an external lawyer for the F1 team’s parent company, Red Bull GmbH, and Christian was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Speaking publicly for the first time since the investigation concluded, Christian told Sky Sports News last summer: ‘Obviously, it’s been a hugely thorough process, and, of course, I was relieved with the appeal concluding and dismissing the claim.’
Red Bull said in a statement after the appeal: ‘Earlier this year, a complaint was raised against Christian Horner was investigated.
‘That complaint was dealt with through the company’s grievance procedure by the appointment of an independent KC who dismissed the grievance.
‘The complainant exercised the right to appeal, and the appeal was carried out by another independent KC. All stages of the appeal process have now been concluded, with the final outcome that the appeal is not upheld.

Red Bull refused to make any further statements but declared itself ‘committed to continuing to meet the highest workplace standards.’
Then, in November, Christian sat down with the Daily Mail to praise Geri for her unwavering support: ‘What happened at the start of the year felt like a perfect storm. In life, it is a great lesson that the more success you have, the more of a target you become.
‘You just stay true to yourself, and I am very fortunate that I have got a tremendous family. My wife has been unbelievable, fantastic. Your partner is always the one you share your difficulties with.’
He added: ‘She has been absolutely outstanding and hugely supportive. She saw through a lot of things from having an outside perspective, and it is good to have that weight and measure. It is hugely important.
‘You learn about yourselves in times of difficulty, and I was absolutely determined that we would navigate through the difficult waters.’
