Glastonbury fans call for huge 90s band to reunite after ‘disappointing’ line-up rumours
Fans have said the reunion would be 'perfect.'

Glastonbury fans have called for the ‘dream’ reunion of an iconic 90s indie band instead of the rumoured acts for the Pyramid Stage.
The annual festival, set to take place at Worthy Farm in June, has so far confirmed Neil Young as the first act to play the legendary event for 2025.
Speculation is rife as to which other acts are set to be announced, with many suggesting The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo as potential headliners.
As many have said they’re ‘disappointed’ with the prospect, some have thrown a band into the ring that last played Glastonbury in 2017.
Fans of the festival have begged for the reunion of Radiohead for the event after going on hiatus in 2018, a year after they performed on the Pyramid Stage.
A post on a Glastonbury Reddit page theorised that the revered band could be playing the festival in 2025 after rumours of a tour coming this year.
Others said it would be a ‘Godsend’ if the Creep rockers played the festival, while some through it was the ‘perfect’ time for new performances from the band, which includes Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood,Ed O’Brien, and and Philip Selway.
‘We can all dream,’ Jackthomasgrant commented.
Cod4dropshotter wrote: ‘They were absolutely SENSATIONAL in 2017. Their return seems too soon for such a band I feel. Unless a new LP drops in spring.’
Ceetee15 had a more dramatic response, posting: ‘Each to their own, but I’d rather hear Thom fart down a trombone for 2 hours than be anywhere near the 1975.’

Matty can be a coin, but they’re a great live band and have a strong back catalogue (and admittedly, a lot of filler).
‘Radiohead are my favourite ever band and it would be ethereal for me to finally see them at the Farm, but I think it’ll be too soon – and there’s also no concrete info on their current status.
‘The Smile are done for a bit, but that doesn’t mean Radiohead are imminently touring.’
FaceBeautiful6705 agreed, writing: ‘As a huge 1975 and Radiohead fan having them both would be a literal dream come true.
‘Radiohead obviously the far better band but I saw them in 2017 and would love to see The 1975 get to headline.’

Since the band went on hiatus, vocalist Thom and guitarist Jonny have been on tour with their side project The Smile, which also includes drummer Tom Skinner.
