Previous Page Next PageA new horror film dubbed the ‘horniest’ released this year has cinemagoers barking at the screen due to its x-rated content.
Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler, sees long-time collaborator Michael B Jordan appear as twins Smoke and Stack as they return to their hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi, from the bright lights of Chicago.
Armed with a bag full of cash, the duo buy a property to turn into their own blues bar, enlisting the help of their cousin Sammie (Miles Caton) and other loved ones to get the ‘juke joint’ up and running that very night.
Soon, however, their opening night goes awry when a trio of fanged strangers turn up and try to gain entry by any means necessary.
The action-packed flick has gone down a storm with viewers, earning a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the crown of ‘best horror film of the year’ from numerous reviews.
Fans have been raving about the strong performances from the ensemble cast, which also includes Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, Jayme Lawson, and Hailee Steinfeld, among others.

Smoke and Stack are reunited with their former flames Annie (Mosaki) and Mary (Steinfeld), respectively, while Sammie meets the mysterious Pearline (Lawson) while tracking down blues musician Delta Slim (Delroy Lindo).
Since horror began, vampires have always been intrinsically linked with sex and sexuality, and yet audiences weren’t quite expecting Sinners to be so racy, taking to social media to discuss the steamy sequences.
‘They’re weren’t lying bout Sinners being horny. #SinnersMovie,’ Eb_so_major wrote on X.
Josh2Gud4U added: ‘The horny-ness of Sinners was insane. I needed more of it tbh.’
Geegeeito admitted ‘The horniness in Sinners shocked the s**t out of them,’ while Lndra__ said Sinners was ‘horny with a capital H.’

FredoDaGawd7 said: ‘Sinners prove the masses crave sexy people being horny. Sorry for the online virgins saying sex scenes are unnecessary.’
Sex scenes in cinema have been a debate for some time, with some dubbing them ‘unnecessary’ and others condemning the sanitisation of media.
Poor Things, Challengers, Babygirl, and even Nosferatu experienced widespread pearl-clutching over sexual content, with some going as far as urging others not to watch them.
Speaking to Jordan opened up on the love in the film and how the cast navigated filming sex scenes.

‘It is very complex and layered and they both have their individual circumstances that they’re working through.’
He continued: ‘I think everybody was in the headspace for whatever scene they were doing…Whether it be with the person that you love, whether it’s conflict and arguing with the person that you love: whether it be my brother, whether it be Mary or Annie, we created an environment for a lot of love throughout the whole movie.’
