The McFly singer, 38, has been married to Georgia Horsley since 2014, and he appeared to kiss Love Island star Maura Higgins, 34, at a Brits afterparty earlier this month as the photos quickly went viral.
The Five Colours In Her Hair hitmaker later issued an apology after the footage emerged, saying sorry to his wife and family for ‘putting them in this situation’.
On Monday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Maura and Danny’s former I’m A Celebrity campmate Melvin Odoom filled in for Richard Arnold in the showbiz news section and awkwardly had to address the situation.
‘Two of your campmates are front page news,’ host Susanna Reid said as started to admit she ‘finds it very awkward’ reporting these stories.

‘First of all, you guys don’t back! Just straight in with the hard stories,’ Melvin laughed awkwardly, as Susanna agreed but continued the conversation.

You were in the jungle with Danny and Maura,’ she added before pausing as Melvin continued.
‘The thing is, we’ve all got a WhatsApp group, we all got on in the jungle. The other day, it was Danny’s birthday, we all wished him happy birthday,’ he revealed.
‘But in regards to this story, it’s not my business, and that’s it. That’s all I’m saying.’
Susanna didn’t push for anything more, and her co-presenter Richard Madeley praised Melvin for his ‘extremely civilised response’.
The radio DJ added: ‘I got on with everyone and they were all lovely guys, and I wish them all the best.’
Danny and Maura were in the jungle together (Picture: Picture: ITV)Sources claimed at the time that jungle campmates Danny and Maura ‘seemed to be having a great time’ after the Brit Awards before sharing a ‘brief drunken kiss’.
It’s since been reported that while Danny and Georgia are working through things as they were pictured together for the first time recently, they are ‘not together’ at the moment.
In photos published by The Sun, Miss England beauty Georgia was spotted over the weekend with her best friend Rose Mahon, as they walked the streets.
Georgia was seen joking around with her phone, while a source said of the marriage: ‘They’re not together, and she is working out what she wants to do.’
It’s claimed she moved out of the marital home before going to the pub with friends after telling her husband: ‘I need to get away.’
It’s reported his wife Georgia is staying with a friend (Picture: James Gourley/ITV/Shutterstock)Georgia has allegedly been staying with Rose since Wednesday, and she and Danny are now ‘talking about how they can move forwards’ after the scandal.
While Maura is single after her recent split from The Only Way is Essex and Strictly star Pete Wicks, Danny has been married to Georgia, with whom he shares son Cooper, for over a decade.
Last week, the I’m A Celebrity winner addressed the incident in a statement shared with his Instagram followers as he apologised for the delay.
‘Hello everyone, sorry I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me,’ he wrote. ‘I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.
‘I love them so much, and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.’

Maura has yet to address the scandal publicly, but sources informed Metro that the ordeal has hit her hard.
‘Maura doesn’t understand why she is bearing the brunt of the backlash. The social media comments have been relentless, and she’s been feeling incredibly low for the past week,’ a source said.
‘She wants to move on from the situation but is worried this might not die down any time soon, or at least until Danny speaks out. Maura is thinking about Georgia throughout all of this.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1.
