Kylie Jenner paying for beloved hairstylist’s funeral after his death aged 34
The news comes after his family originally posted a GoFundMe.

Kylie Jenner covered the cost of her hair stylist Jesus Guerrero’s funeral after his unexpected death at 34 years old.
After Jesus’s younger sister, Gris, created a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her brother’s funeral expenses and the cost of transporting his belongings back to his hometown of Houston, Kylie stepped in.
Guerrero’s cause of death is currently unknown, with his family writing in the original announcement of his death that he died ‘suddenly and unexpectedly.’
His family updated the fundraising page on Tuesday, sharing that the beauty mogul and reality star would be footing the bill.
The update read: ‘When this go fund me was set up we created it thinking we would have to take care of all the expenses ourselves. We didn’t want to burden any clients with this. Our family deeply appreciates Kylie for later offering to cover funeral expenses and offering up all her help and support,” read the update.
The update also said that the $96,000 (£75,930.74) previously raised on the page will be used to pay any other costs associated with settling Jesus’s affairs and bringing his belongings home.
Kylie wrote a moving tribute to the hairstylist on social media (Picture: Instagram)The update continued: ‘With his death being so unexpected, there are many things that weren’t set up for a time like this. The next several months will have many hoops we will have to jump through to ensure we honor him in the best way we can.
‘Our mother will be taking time off to ensure that everything gets taken care of and so that she can greave properly because a mother should never have to bury her child.” The update concluded: “We truly appreciate everyone’s support. Thank you.’
Along with Kylie, Guerrero also worked closely with Jennifer Lopez. His list of clients also included A-listers like Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Rosalía, Demi Moore, Charli xcx, Camila Cabello, and Dua Lipa.
Kylie wrote: ‘The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you.’ (Picture: Instagram)Kylie was noticeably absent from the SAG Awards on Monday, presumably because she was processing the news of her friend’s death, leaving Timothee Chalamet to accept his best actor award with his mother as his last-minute date.
She paid moving tribute to Jesus on Instagram yesterday, posting pictures with him alongside a caption that began: ‘Jesus was more than my friend – he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.’
She continued, describing losing him as ‘unbearable’ and saying she doesn’t know ‘how to move forward without you.’
She concluded by writing: ‘Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I’ll cherish all our moments together. every laugh and hug. I wish I could hug you again. I laid in your bed the way you used to lay in mine, talking for hours. I would give anything for one more deep talk. I’m going to miss you so much. more than any words can say. 222 my angel.’
Jennifer Lopez also made her love for Jesus known in a post that read: ‘It’s no surprise your mother gave you the name Jesus. You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room. You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as you artistry did.
‘I’ve been having trouble putting the words together the last few days. The truth is I’m still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end. It seems senseless and unfair. I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you. Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever. Rest in peace, sweet angel… ????’
