Maura Higgins looks downcast as she escapes to LA after Danny Jones ‘kissing scandal’
She has left the country on a work trip.
Maura Higgins has arrived in Los Angeles just one week after an alleged kiss with Danny Jones.
The former Love Island star is taking a little break from the UK after jetting off to California following the apparent incident with her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! co-star at a Brits afterparty.
She was seen after getting off the plane in LA as she left the airport in a fitted black one-piece and white zip-up jumper, while she kept her face hidden under a black baseball cap and shades.
She wheeled a Louis Vuitton suitcase and matching bag through security, occasionally looking at her phone.
Maura, 34, looked fresh despite the long haul flight, but kept a straight face as she arrived in the city.
She recently took to her Instagram stories and gave her followers a much anticipated update as to what she’s spending her time doing.

She did not reveal if this was planned before or after recent events but did let fans know she was heading to LA.
Sharing a photo of her plane setup, it was clear Maura was not sitting in economy.
Instead, she was heading stateside in the comfort of a spacious booth, and she appeared to be indulging in a glass of rosé wine which was resting on her tray.
‘Exciting shoot,’ she simply wrote alongside the image, indicating that is is a working holiday.

The pair spent the night together at the bash, with onlookers then filming them appearing to lock lips around 3am.
Soon after they left the party, each later being seen at the Sony party in Nobu Hotel where they were ‘still grinning and joking about’. It has been claimed by Daily Mail that they ‘stayed up until 6am drinking wine’.

It’s been reported Danny and Georgia, 38, are holding ‘crisis talks’ in the aftermath but now want to ‘move past it’.
‘This saga has been embarrassing, and Danny had a lot of explaining to do,’ a source has said.
According to the insider, the couple are ‘keen to just move past it and get on with their lives’.
‘They’ve been away for a few days, and they are focused on being a family unit,’ they said while speaking to The Sun, emphasising that the married couple are ‘both committed to each other’.

Pete, who was also an attendee at the Universal afterparty, is reportedly glad they parted ways when they did.
An insider close to Pete, 36, told OK! Magazine: ‘This sort of attention is exactly what Pete doesn’t want.
‘He’s seen this sort of media circus happen when he was on Towie and it’s not the sort of relationship he wants.’
They added: ‘It’s a shame because it will probably bring his guard back up and he just wants to find someone he can genuinely love.’
