Viewers were left astounded by shocking scenes in new Netflix dating show Temptation Island, as one contestant vowed that he was being ‘respectful’ to his girlfriend by having a threesome with two other women.

The latest season of the infamous series, which went viral earlier this year, premiered on the streaming service this week, following couples as they are separated into two villas where their relationships are tested with singles who try and ‘tempt’ them to stray.

Shante Glover, 29, and Brion Whitley, 26, had been dating for around a year when they took part, in a bid to strengthen their romance after the latter was unfaithful.

However, it only took a matter of days before he strayed again, after making it clear that he wanted to enjoy a threesome with some of the new Tempresses he was surrounded by.

Cameras captured the moment where Courtney and Alex, both 26, found themselves in the bathroom with Brion, hidden from the cameras.

‘How far are you actually willing to go?,’ Courtney questioned, to which he replied: ‘I guess we just start slow, huh? That’s really up to y’all. I like to watch before I indulge.’

Moans could be heard coming from the closed doors, with the trio leaving the bathroom the following morning, after their night of passion.

In a shocking confessional, Brion told the cameras that he believed he was still being respectful of his girlfriend by having the threesome

‘Last night was a good night,’ he said. ‘I just had a threesome with Courtney and Alex. I guess that’s falling into temptation but I didn’t think I’d wake up with any regret or anything, and I don’t.

‘I think I’m still respecting Shante at the end of the day. I think women respect honesty and being true to yourself, and I think a lot of women would rather have someone just be real and talk to them, and if they’re going to step out or whatever, let them know.

‘Now I’m like, “How do we get Angel and Amiah in the shower as well?”

‘Yeah, I f**ked up,’ he added to the cameras. ‘But for me, a threesome, I can keep it player. One-on-one, that’s what me and Shante have sacred. If I had one-on-one sex with Alex, if I had one-on-one sex with Courtney, my honest gut feeling is that’s worse.’

The next episode saw Brion having an honest conversation with Courtney, declaring that their night of passion ‘needed to happen’ for the good of his relationship with Shante.

‘Because when you hold something up there so high, where you think that’s the answer – I held it on a pedestal. “I’m used to threesomes, I need to have threesomes”. That’s not it,’ he said.

‘But if I didn’t do that, I would’ve left this island still thinking that was the thing.

‘Now she never has to hear about it.’

Brion later defended his actions to host Mark Walberg, adding: ‘In my opinion, I don’t need to make a case to her. I feel like I can go up to her and apologize, and she’s probably still going to stay.

‘That’s a great woman right there. Everyone wishes they had a woman like that.’

Fans couldn’t get over his comments and quickly flooded social media with their reactions to the episodes.

Flocking to Reddit, TvTacosTakingNaps couldn’t help but scream: “I think I’m still respecting Shante at the end of the day” BRO WHAT YOU JUST HAD A THREESOME.

‘Dude what the ACTUAL F**K. “In my opinion, I don’t need to make a case to her. I feel like I can go up to her and apologize, and she’s probably still gonna stay.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more disrespectful disgusting man in any dating show that I’ve ever seen.’

‘Brion is a genuine psychopath,’ Duh_metrius agreed. ‘Like having a threesome and then saying he’s being respectful of his girlfriend because being ‘true to yourself’ is really what respecting your partner is about? Lunatic behavior.’

‘He literally did every single thing that is considered disrespectful,’ Calm-Sir-3996 fumed. ‘He’s literally delusional. He needs intensive therapy if he wants commitment or simply embrace the bachelor/open relationship life forever.’

The season ended with Shante taking Brion back and deciding that they would leave the island together to work on their relationship.

Host Mark unpacked the bombshell moment in a chat with Entertainment Weekly, sharing that he was ‘as surprised as everyone else is’ by her decision to stand by his side.

‘It left me feeling a little bit uncomfortable, to be honest with you,’ he admitted. ‘It didn’t feel like she was leaving of her own free will to me.

‘I felt like she was a little bit under his spell, so I really didn’t know what to do, which is not often the case.

‘But I do know that I don’t intervene unless I’m asked for help. And so that’s how that one went down. It was uncomfortable for me. I was very unsettled.’
