Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Tasha Ghouri has given her first interview after her shocking split from Andrew Le Page.

The 2022 Love Island beauty dated estate agent Andrew for two years. Fans grew incredibly invested in their relationship, having been given regular insight via social media.

Influencer Tasha, 26, shared a home with Andrew, 30, as well as a dog named Luna. In a bold declaration of love, they even got matching tattoos, with Andrew having her cochlear implant permanently inked on his body.

Alas, their romance wasn’t to go the distance, with dancer Tasha now emotionally opening up about a ‘silly mistake’ she made in the immediate aftermath of their breakup.

The star signed up for celebrity dating app Raya immediately after they decided to split, a move that reportedly ‘blindsided’ Andrew.

Speaking to The Sun, Tasha reflected: ‘I think, at the time, I made a silly mistake. I did it way too soon.’

She described signing up to the app as ‘a heat-of-the-moment kind of situation.’

‘Everyone makes mistakes. And in that situation, I did, and I own up to that.’

Taking accountability, she added: ‘Unfortunately, that’s something I just have to put my hands up and say, “Tasha, it was way too soon.” It is what it is. I can’t turn back time, but I’ve learned from that.’

Tasha also spoke about the reason for her and Andrew’s split, which has been a hot topic of conversation online and in the press.

Admitting that navigating the breakup is ‘hard’, she reminisced on just how much time they spent together.

‘We were together for two and a half years. We had a house. We got our dog Luna together in 2023. It was heartbreaking. But sometimes you just grow apart, and that’s what happened.’

However, fans of the couple can rest assured there’s no bad blood, as they still share custody of their dog and remain on good terms.

Tasha insists their relationship ‘didn’t end badly at all’ and they are still ‘in touch’ as she has a lot of ‘respect’ for Andrew.

And despite no longer being girlfriend and boyfriend, Tasha still ‘cares’ for her ex deeply.

‘But we’re on different paths, and that’s how relationships can be. It’s normal.’

Elsewhere in the tell-all interview, Tasha confessed that having the eyes of the world on her at such a tricky time has been ‘difficult’.

But although she has ‘struggled’ with ‘everyone having an opinion’ on her very public romance, she’s trying to not be hurt by the rumours.

‘Only Andrew and I know what happened between us. We are quite private people.

‘I had to put my head down, just focus on myself and think, “This is not forever”.’

The model reached the final of Strictly in December with her partner Aljaž Škorjanec, who returned to the show for its 20th-anniversary series after quitting as a pro two years earlier.

Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell went on to lift the trophy, while the other finalists were JB Gill and Sarah Hadland.

Tasha then took to the road with the Strictly Live Tour, which is when stories about her being single first appeared, given that Andrew had not been seen in the audience supporting her.

First confirming that the hot couple had parted ways, the reality star urged her followers to ‘not believe’ everything they read.

‘Breakups happen in life. Just because ours is in the “public eye”, doesn’t make it any different,’ she wrote on Snapchat.
