A series that was branded the ‘rock bottom’ of reality TV has now been canceled, it has been claimed.

Milf Manor raised eyebrows when it premiered on TLC in 2023, following a group of single moms flying out to a villa in Mexico in a bid to meet The One.

In a bizarre, nightmare-inducing twist, the group of eligible bachelors they were hoping to mingle with consisted of each others’ sons – they were then sent off on awkward double dates, had X-rated sex education classes together and even slept in very close proximity.

Viewers watched on in horror through the first two seasons and were reportedly hopeful of a third, but the series is thought to have been axed.

‘Milf Manor got everyone talking across both series with its draw-dropping scenes,’ an insider claimed to the Sun.

‘It’s a shock factor format that wouldn’t be made in the UK with British contestants and did raise eyebrows with critics.

‘While fans wanted a third series, it wasn’t filmed last year and there are no plans right now for it.

‘It could return in the future, but for now the manor has been closed.’

The series caused a huge stir when it first aired, with a second season hitting the small screen last year.

It included ‘toe-curling’ revelations and shocking challenges – including the moment the moms were tasked with feeling up their naked son’s chests, in order to identify them.

Another task showed the mother-son duos being forced to take a sex education class, which included the youngsters performing oral sex on mannequins in front of everyone.

While Milf Manor sparked conversations, it wasn’t a hit with reviewers, and was met with a dismal 14% critics Rotten Tomatoes score – compared to a slightly higher ranking of 36% from viewers.

The Daily Telegraph’s Helen Brown slammed it as ‘toe-curling in all the wrong ways’.

Joel Keller, from Decider, agreed: ‘MILF Manor is cringe TV at its worst, and the cringe factor isn’t balanced by a cast with any remotely interesting personalities.’

Naomi Fry of the New Yorker penned: ‘It might be a new low for reality TV, perhaps even a rock bottom.’

As Rolling Stone’s Miles Klee added: ‘MILF Manor asks the viewer to derive titillation from this psychological torture.’
