If you’ve missed out on Glastonbury tickets, fear not.

There are plenty of brilliant other UK and European festivals just a short hop away that will satisfy all your summer cravings with some seriously world-class line ups.

While some festivals are sold out – save for lavish VIP tickets – others are cheap as chips compared to the Worthy Farm festival’s £380 price tag.

The best artists in the world right now including Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, and Sabrina Carpenter are all hitting up festivals this year, with Primavera Sound in Barcelona nabbing all three queens.

While tickets to Primavera are technically sold out, there is still a chance to attend if you join the official waiting list and get your hands on any being sold.

Elsewhere, if you fancy going further a field then the USA has some, ahem, very expensive options, too.

BST Hyde Park is only 12 years old, but has quickly established itself as one of the most sought after festivals due to its ability to attract some mega stars.

The likes of Bruce Springsteen, Celine Dion, Adele, The Rolling Stones and Elton John have all headlined the multi-weekend festival in recent years.

Last year saw the Fleetwood Mac legend that is Stevie Nicks and Robbie Willams both take to the stage on various weekends across June and July.

The London festival still has tickets for several evenings in 2025, including to see Stevie Wonder on July 12 – which is not yet on sale – as well as Zach Bryan (June 29), Sabrina Carpenter (July 6) and Neil Young on 11 July (supported by the incredible Yusuf/Cat Stevens and Van Morrison).

Tickets are available here at varying prices.

Reading and Leeds The Reading and Leeds line up has been consistantly top tier, and this year is no different (Picture: Joseph Okpako/WireImage)

Taking place from Thursday, August 21, to Sunday, August 24, Reading and Leeds is historically the place to go for alternative, indie and rock artists.

If you can get down with the kids, Reading and Leeds offers an enviable lineup, from Chappell Roan – who is a R&L UK festival exclusive this year – to Bring Me The Horizon, Travis Scott, The Kooks, rising star Lola Young, Limp Bizkit and Hozier.

Tickets are available via Reading and Leeds Festival websites.

Having started life in 2007, Way Out West has established itself on the world festival map with its enviable lineups and leafy Slottsskogen park surroundings.

This year it’s got a truly incredible array of artists for all different types of music lovers, from Charli XCX and Chappell Roan to Iggy Pop, Queens of the Stone Age and even Bicep.

The five stages are lit up across three days (August 7 to 9), and festivities seep over into the city – which is within walkable distance – with upcoming and established artists performing in intimate, unexpected settings.

Sziget Festival, Budapest The one and only Nelly Furtado will be performing in Budapest this year (Picture: Medios y Media/Getty Images)

In the heart of Budapest, Sziget is a truly singular European festival – and this year’s lineup makes it even more so.

Charli XCX, Shawn Mendes, Nelly Furtado, A$AP Rocky, and Chappell Roan will all be taking a trip to Hungary’s capital.

The first time the small city island was taken over by music lovers was in 1993, and it has since grown to be one of Europe’s best festivals.

Oh, and day tickets are €75 (£62) – not bad.

Tickets for Sziget, which takes place from 6 to 11 August 2025, are available via their website.

Coachella, California Coachella tickets are still up for grabs, people (Picture: Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images for Coachella)

Coachella Festival is actually still available to nab tickets for in 2025.

The line up doesn’t quite live up to its reputation, but Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Post Malone, Missy Elliot, Megan Thee Stallion and Travis Scott are all heading to the desert for the California festivities.

The action takes place over a number of weekends in April (from the 11 to 13 and 18 to 20) and marks the beginning of the festival season.

But before you rush to get your Gaga fix, it’s worth checking the price… As for a weekend pass you’re looking at forking out $599 (£500). Ouch.

Chicago’s Lollapalooza is fast becoming a much more tempting offer than Coachella, given it’s priced at $385 (£321) for a four day ticket.

Superstar Doechii will be headlining alongside Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tyler, The Creator.

On the shores of Lake Michigan, this festival is set up in Grant Park with a dramatic Chicago skyline backdrop. Incredible.

Tickets for Lollapalooza are available via the festival website.
