Amazon Prime can’t stop watching series taking sci-fi to ‘entirely different level’

Amazon Prime Video viewers have been taken aback by a new sci-fi series that’s flying under the radar despite its incredible cast.

Secret Level is an adult animated anthology series from the creators of Netflix’s dark Love, Sex + Robots featuring stories set in the worlds of some of the most beloved video games.

From Pac-Man to Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer, each of the 15 episodes is a total blast.

The cast includes some of the world’s best talent including Keanu Reeves, Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Patrick Schwarzenegger – currently grabbing everyone’s attention in The White Lotus season 3.

Comedian Kevin Hart, Barbie star Ariana Greenblatt and American Gods actor Ricky Whittle also star.

After bingeing all 15 episodes, viewers said they were blown away, some admitting they were more impressed than they thought they would be.

On Google reviews of the series, Filipe Albanes wrote: ‘The series is absolutely fantastic and refreshing. Even episodes I initially thought I wouldn’t enjoy, like Pac Man, turned out to be surprisingly good.

‘The Warhammer 40k episode, however, was on an entirely different level—it moved me to tears. It was executed perfectly, with Metaurus’ voice actor delivering a deep, melancholic explanation of how Space Marines are created; it truly captured the tragic and brutal essence of the lore.’

Google reviews is flooded with more five-star reviews, including Dash Jhan who praised the ‘hidden gem’.

They said: ‘The story is captivating from the first scene, taking viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions. The graphics and cinematography are absolutely stunning, elevating the entire viewing experience.

‘Every detail, from the visuals to the sound design, feels intentional and immersive.’

Secret Level is currently in the top 10 on the Amazon Prime charts, just behind a new police drama that’s also getting rave reviews from fans called Cross.

And there are plenty of new shows on the horizon too to keep us glued to screens coming in March.
