Britain’s Got Talent child star unrecognisable 7 years after leaving fans speechless
Seven years is a long time!

A Britain’s Got Talent child star looks unrecognisable just seven years after wowing audiences with her incredible audition on the talent show.
Lexie May, from Manchester, auditioned as a ballet dancer alongside her friend Christopher – she hilariously revealed that the pair started dancing together after meeting each other ‘on a website’.
At first, 10-year-old Lexie and 10-year-old Christopher had us smiling and laughing and delighted judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams, and Alesha Dixon.
David asked Lexie how they came to dance together, and Lexie said, ‘Well, there’s a website…’ to rapturous applause and laugher from the audience.
When Simon asked ‘Really?’ Lexie responded: ‘If you’re both in the same category, you’re a match – so, obviously we’re a match,’ pointing to them both.

David then asked Christopher is Lexie was ‘the boss’ in their relationship, to which Christopher joked, ‘Well, she thinks she is’ to yet more laughter and applause.
The pair sailed through their audition with ease (Picture: Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX/Shutterstock)Lexie then called Christopher ‘my future husband,’ causing the crowd to give a big ‘Aw’ – but Christopher shook his head, which caught the attention of Simon and Alesha.
However, Christopher poured cold water on the idea when he confessed to finding Lexie ‘annoying’ – at least some of the time anyway.
The two then got to dancing to Meghan Trainor’s Dear Future Husband, impressed the judges and the crowd, and received a standing ovation from everyone inside the hall.
Lexie continues to dance to this day, competing at several events a year (Picture: @lexiemaydanceDespite impressing the judges at their audition, however, Lexie and Christopher only made it as far as the semi-finals, with Lost Voice Guy eventually winning the competition that year.
Watching at the time, Joanne Dudding commented on X: ‘Does anyone else think that young lad dancing could be Anton Du Beke’s long lost son?’
Jean de Mario said on Facebook: ‘I want meet someone who thinks I am annoying but still wants to stay and dance with me. Love them. Super funny. Super brilliant.’
Seven years on that from Britain’s Got Talent audition, 17-year-old Lexie is still dancing and registering for dance competitions up and down the country.
Lexie has a new dancing partner these days – Dylan (Picture: @lexiemaydance)These days, her dancing partner appears to be a young man named Dylan, with the pair seen practising their routines in videos posted to social media.
And it appears the two have made a real success of their partnership, with Lexie and Dylan both seen holding various trophies in photos uploaded to Lexie’s Instagram over the years.
Earlier this year, Lexie and Dylan were winners of the Dance Promoters Association Team Match, with the pair proudly representing Team North in the competition.
Lexie and Christopher were just 10 years old on Britain’s Got Talent (Picture: Tom Dymond/Thames/Syco Shutterstock/REX/Shutterstock)Not much seems to be known publicly about what Christopher did following his time on the show – but according to a post on her Instagram account, Lexie was still dancing with Christopher as of early 2021.
And shortly after getting through to the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals, the pair went on to compete at a national event where they were lucky enough to meet Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas.
3,000 people follow her Instagram account, which has been active ever since September 2016, when Lexie and Christopher were just eight-years-old.
