Drake’s explicit lyric about two major pop sensations leaves fans reeling
Fans are begging the rapper to 'stay away from them.'

Drake might be finding himself in hot water (again). And no we’re not talking about Kendrick Lamar.
The rapper – real name Aubrey Graham – has felt the wrath from fans after name dropping pop icons Tate McRae and Charli XCX in his single Small Town Fame.
Referencing the pop singer and Charli’s critically acclaimed album he rapped: ‘B***h I feel like Tate McRae […] Puttin’ Charli up her nose, X on her tongue, she been geekin’ hard, she done had a BRAT Summer.’
While some are branding it ‘the worst bar in history,’ others feel like the Take Care hitmaker is doing ‘a lot to stay relevant.’
@DitchtheEgo shared on X: ‘This man is almost 40 what are we doing.’
@Migs.b added: ‘Drake Stay away from themmmm get a jobbbb.’

It’s been a tough week for Drake to say the least, as all eyes were on his hip-hop nemesis Kendrick as he headlined the annual Super Bowl in New Orleans on Sunday..
During his set, the 37-year-old was joined by SZA for a stunning duet, while also sharing the stage with both Serena Williams and Samuel L Jackson.
The Grammy-winning rapper also took the opportunity to throw several digs at Drake despite censoring his famous diss track Not Like Us – where he accuses the rapper of being a paedophile.
During the halftime show, Kendrick teased the song with several false starts before launching into it during his 13-minute set, which is expected to have reached 120million TV viewers, and almost 60million views on YouTube.
(Picture: Twitter / @ScottieBeam)In the performance he directly addressed his rival, rapping the lines ‘Say, Drake, I hear you like ‘em young’ and ‘tryna strike a chord, and it’s probably A minor’, with the crowd roaring back in return.
However, he did censor the most controversial and explicit line, avoiding calling Drake a paedophile, which he does in the recording and has previously done during other live performances.
Instead, he rapped: ‘Certified Lover Boy? Certified …’ before cutting himself off with a pre-recorded screaming sound at the point before he’d usually drop the allegation.
And the final twist of the knife was when the Canadian rapper’s ex-girlfriend, tennis superstar Serena Williams was seen vibing to the diss track.

Although this is Kendrick’s first time headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, also making history as the first solo hi-hop artist to do so, he was also a guest during Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre’s 2022 headline slot where he performed his 2015 song Alright.
Countless celebrities were also spotted attending the game, including Taylor Swift – whose partner Travis Kelce’s team lost the Super Bowl.
She was seen with Ice Spice, while other famous faces there included Louis Tomlinson, Kevin Costner, Paul Rudd, Pete Davidson, Miles Teller and Martha Stewart.
Also in attendance was Bradley Cooper, Beyonce and Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Post Malone and Anne Hathaway.
