Former WWE champion released along with top stars in cuts before SmackDown
A number of stars have been dropped.

Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman has been released for the second time amid rosters cuts,
The 41-year-old Monster Among Men, who was first cut in 2021 before returning the following year, has been fired from the company alongside the likes of Dakota Kai and Shayna Bazsler,
According to Fightful, Strowman, Dakota and Shayna are being released alongside Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.
Dakota shared a screenshot from the Grand Theft Auto franchise with the caption: ‘Here we go again.’
Two weeks before the shock news, the Damage CTRL member exclusively told Metro she could have been ‘more vocal’ when ti came to creative pitches to get more opportunities.
‘I should very much be more vocal. I’ve always been someone that sort of accepted the opportunities I’ve been given, but I could definitely be better at that,’ she said.

‘I have a degree in graphic design, so I think I would maybe be down that path,’ she added. ‘But I’m not sure. Actually, I love photography and art growing up in high school, that was my focus.’
Before her exit, Dakota mentioned Bayley as someone she still wanted to face on a big stage again, despite previously wrestling on Raw.
‘I would love to have match with her, just because she means the world to me. She brought me back into the company as part of Damage CTRL at SummerSlam,’ she recalled.
‘She’s just always had my back since day one. She has a lot of people’s back, so she’s just definitely an advocate for everyone.’

Cora wrote on X: ‘Thankful for all the childhood dreams I got to live out! I have a lot to say in due time. Stay tuned xoxo’
And Shayna tweeted: ‘No one can offer what I have to offer. Reality. Let the Galaxy burn.’
