Good Morning Britain star Alex Beresford and wife Imogen welcome first child together

Good Morning Britain host Alex Beresford and wife Imogen McKay have announced the arrival of their first child together.
The couple have chosen the name Camille Beresford for their daughter and are clearly already besotted.
To share the happy news Alex chose four pictures of their baby’s first few days, including a humorous snap of himself mimicking the baby’s cries.
‘After what felt like forever she’s finally here! Camille Beresford arrived safely earlier this week and already has us wrapped around her little finger, already knows what she wants, and we both scream when the human milk machine powers down for a rare break,’ he wrote on Instagram.
The 44-year-old went on to praise wife of two years Imogen, 30, for being ‘amazing’ and ‘incredible’ adding that she’s adapted to motherhood ‘like a duck to water’.
‘I’m enjoying my new role as Chief Nappy Officer and before you ask, yes I’m on the ones and twos ????,’ he joked.

‘I really want to shout out the incredible team of midwives and doctors at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, especially Faisa who brought our little angel into this world with such calm and care!
‘The NHS is quite simply amazing! Over the last 9 months I saw staff from all over the world constantly going the extra mile. I can’t thank you enough for keeping mum and baby safe xxxx’ he concluded.

Dancing On Ice professional Mark Hanretty, who met Alex when he was a contestant in 2018, shared: ‘Huge congratulations and lots of love!’
Doctor Amir Khan typed: ‘Oh wow!! Absolutely perfect! Congratulations my friend.’

For over a decade Alex has been a weather presenter on Good Morning Britain, and he has on occasion stood in as a guest host. He has won both Celebrity Race Across the World and All Star Musicals.
Alex and Imogen wed in a stunning cliff top ceremony on the island of Majorca after two years of dating in September 2022.
