Cassie Ventura’s horrific injuries shown for first time after allegedly being beaten by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
The trial continues in New York.

As the trial against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs continues, images of Cassie Ventura’s injuries, said to be at the hands of her former boyfriend, have now been released.
Ventura, 38, took to the stand four times last week during the New York trial against Combs, where he is charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has repeatedly denied all charges, facing the rest of his life behind bars if convicted.
Ventura has testified about the details of Combs’ four-day marathon ‘freak off’ sex sessions and claims of domestic violence she faced at his hands.
On Monday, multiple previously unreleased images of the wounds Combs allegedly inflicted upon Cassie were released for the first time.
The images showed a gash in Cassie’s eyebrow from when Combs allegedly threw her into a bedframe in 2013.

Another image showed the singer with dark sunglasses and a black hoodie. The images were taken in an Uber ride leaving the InterContinental Hotel in March 2016 and showed she had swollen lips and was wearing shades to cover her black eye.
Kerry Morgan, Ventura’s former friend, testified on Monday that Cassie took the images after being attacked by Combs in a video that was captured on hotel CCTV.

Video footage of the night showed the 55-year-old kicking and hitting his ex-girlfriend while at the InterContinental Hotel in 2016, before dragging her across the floor.
The surveillance footage was widely circulated over the past year, with Combs himself allegedly purchasing it himself for $50,000 (£37.6k) the day after the beating, seemingly in an attempt to prevent it from becoming public.
It has since been reported that Ventura is set to receive a $10 million (£7.5 million) settlement from the Los Angeles hotel.

Speaking to the court, Morgan said that Ventura appeared to have a black eye when she returned, and that Combs turned up around 30 minutes later.
Multiple US outlets report that she testified he was yelling and banging on the door with a hammer when he arrived, causing her to ‘freak out’.

What to do if you're experiencing domestic abuseIf you are experiencing domestic abuse, you are not alone. And whether you are currently coping with or have made the decision to leave, you do have options.
If you are thinking about leaving, domestic abuse charity Refuge suggests starting a record of abusive incidents, which might include saving pictures or messages, or making notes of times, dates and details of incidents. The next step is to make copies of important documents such as court orders, marriage certificates, National Insurance Numbers and your driving licence. In the meantime, identify the safer areas of your home so that you know where to go if your abuser becomes aggravated. Ideally, this should be a room with a phone and a door or window to the outside. If you feel ready to leave, start by making a plan for a safe, reliable route out. If you feel safe to do so, pack an emergency bag so that you leave in a hurry if needed. You can access a local refuge, either with or without children, for as long as you need to stay. The address is confidential. The National Domestic Abuse Helpline (0808 2000 247) is open 24-hours a day and has all the details of refuges in your area. In an emergency situation, ring 999 and ask for the police. If you aren’t able to talk, try the Silent Solution: after dialling 999, listen to the questions from the operator and respond by coughing or tapping your device, if possible. If prompted, press 55 to let the operator know it's an emergency – you'll be put through to the police.Read more here.
Elsewhere, Morgan – who was one of Ventura’s long-time friends before they went their separate ways – said that she hid in a ditch with the Empire actress for ‘what felt like hours’ after the mogul attacked her in 2013.
Earlier in the day, Dawn Richard continued her testimony and spoke of the moment she was threatened after witnessing him attack his then-partner.
Richard came to fame in 2005 after auditioning for Combs’ MTV series, Making the Band 3 – she made it into Danity Kane alongside Aubrey O’Day, Wanita Woodgett, Shannon Bex and Aundrea Fimbres.

She filed a lawsuit against Combs in 2024, alleging that he assaulted her, deprived her of food and sleep, and refused to pay her properly.
In the documents, she claimed that she witnessed the businessman abuse Ventura on multiple occasions – accusations he has fiercely denied.
Richard initially appeared in court on Friday and alleged that she had seen him attack the star with a skillet full of eggs in 2009 when he was enraged over his breakfast.
Speaking on the stand today, the 41-year-old told the jury that she ‘frequently’ witnessed him being violent.
Dawn Richard began her testimony on Friday (Picture: Reuters) Dawn was in the group with Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, and D Woods (Picture: Getty)‘He would punch her, choke her, drag her, slap her in the mouth,’ she said. ‘I saw him kick her, punch her in the stomach.’
When discussing what prompted the outbursts, she said: ‘It could be Cass speaking up for herself. It could be random. We didn’t even know where it came from.’
Richard told the court that Combs became violent at a dinner attended by record label executives, and allegedly punched Ventura in the stomach at the restaurant.
She claimed that the former couple had been arguing quietly before the attack, and that he instructed Ventura to leave after she bent over in reaction to the blow.
The argument reportedly continued in the car outside the venue, where his ex was ‘embarrassed’ that the incident had been so public.
Combs has denied all allegations against him (Picture: Getty)Richard said that he ‘grabbed her by the neck and popped her, slapped her in the mouth,’ and told her to shut up.
She also claimed that he threatened her and Ventura shortly after the kitchen incident.
‘He said you could go missing, that we could die,’ she alleged. ‘I was shocked but also scared, I couldn’t believe this would be the beginning of a journey for us [with the group Dirty Money].’
The hearings are expected to go on for several weeks.
The trial continues.
