Keith Richards’ model daughter names new baby in unexpected tribute to rocker dad

Keith Richards, 81, is a grandfather for the eighth time after his youngest daughter welcomed her fourth baby.

The Rolling Stone rocker’s youngest daughter Alexandra, 38, welcomed her fourth baby, a son named Elvis Nova Naudé – a tribute to her dad’s love for the Elvis Presley.

The couple shared the joyous news Instagram and shared four black-and-white photos with two being before she gave birth and the others being after she welcomed her baby boy.

‘4,3,2,1 ???? Love bomb drop ???? Jacques and I welcomed our son to the world 2/17/25 ???? Elvis Nova Naudé ????,’ Alexandra captioned the post.

‘Our long winters wait is over ???? Soaking in all these delicious moments together????.’

In his 2011 memoir Life, Keith expressed his love for the late King of Rock and Roll and wrote: ‘I’d never heard of Elvis before.

‘It was almost as if I’d been waiting for it to happen. When I woke up the next day [after hearing his music for the first time] I was a different guy’. 

The Jumpin’ Jack Flash singer was infamous for his partying lifestyle in the Rolling Stones’ hey-day with late nights, booze and drugs part of Keith’s daily routine.

However, he hung up his partying shoes in favour of a healthier lifestyle.

Revealing how he’s getting on with quitting smoking, Keith told Mojo in 2019: ‘I have tried. So far, unsuccessfully.

‘Lou Reed claimed nicotine was harder to quit than heroin. It is.’

In a shocking revelation, he then added: ‘Quitting heroin is like hell, but it’s a short hell. Cigarettes are just always there, and you’ve always done it. I just pick ’em up and light ’em up without thinking about it.’

Aside from being a well known rocker, Richards is also a proud father to his five children. In the 1970s, the original member of The Rolling Stones welcomed his first three kids with model Anita Pallenberg: sons Marlon and Tara and daughter Angela.

A few years after his relationship with Pallenberg ended, Keith married model Patti Hansen, and the couple welcomed two daughters: Theodora and Alexandra.

Marlon gave him three grandchildren – Ella, Orson and Ida – from his marriage with model Lucie De La Falaise.

His first daughter, Dandelion has two children, Otto Reed and Ava Melody.

In 2020, Keith’s model daughter Alexandra told Vogue she met her husband and film director Naudé, through mutual friends, and they got engaged two years later in Turks and Caicos.

They married in the fall of 2019 in a nature-inspired wedding in her parents’ backyard in Connecticut, where the New York-based couple often spend their weekends.

‘We cook, make fires, create, play games, dance and read,’ she explained.

‘It’s pretty relaxing and always fun. I grew up there as well, and … it was kind of a win that it’s so close for planning purposes too.’
