Kid Rock’s intimate performance at fellow musician David Bryan’s party was completely derailed because the audience ‘didn’t clap enough’.

The Cowboy singer was celebrating the Bon Jovi keyboardist’s birthday when he began hurling abuse at the crowd before storming off stage.

On Saturday, February 8, Kid Rock made a surprise appearance in Jon Bon Jovi’s Tennesse restaurant, JBJ Nashville.

He was singing a rendition of Proud Mary when he abruptly cut the music and began shouting at the crowd for not clapping in time.

‘F*** them,’ the 54-year-old singer said to the band then addressed the audience, warning: ‘If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing.

‘That’s how it’s gonna work.’

The crowd manages to win him back over by clapping in time to the music as the band starts up again and Kid Rock continues singing.

However, this is short-lived as the claps quickly begin to fade, causing the singer to have a mini meltdown and storm off.

‘You know what, f*** y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone,’ he yelled to the startled onlookers.

David, 63, who was playing the keyboard looked just as confused as the gathered crowd as he watched his friend leave the stage.

Last month, Kid Rock was the source of another controversy as he was accused of ‘hitting on’ a stunned presenter live on the BBC.

The exchange happened while preparing for Trump’s inauguration, with the Picture singer a long-time supporter of the controversial politician.

Caitríona Perry said: ‘We’ll be on air for 11 or 12 hours so I don’t think I’ll have anywhere near as fun a day as you have planned for yourself there, that sounds like you got the better deal indeed.’

‘I can’t see you right now so I don’t know what you look like,’ Kid Rock replied, while brandishing a cigar.

Slightly baffled, she joked: ‘I look like I’m ready to hit the slopes, I can tell you. I’m in full-on ski gear here with my hat, gloves, the whole thing.

‘Ready to rock because you’ve got to be wrapped up against the elements, don’t you?’

Kid Rock then took a more direct approach and responded: ‘I love to go skiing… You sound sexy, do you want to go with me?’

The host took a second before calmly replying: ‘Well, we won’t get into that around here… We’re doing no skiing today, we’ve got a day of broadcasting to do.’

She then cut off the interview and handed back to the studio, thanking him for his time, clearly unsettled by the chat.
