Liam and Noel Gallagher ‘still haven’t rehearsed together’ despite Oasis tour just weeks away
The tour begins on July 4.

The Oasis reunion tour is, quite literally, around the corner, but it seems rehearsals aren’t exactly a military operation.
In fact, it’s believed brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher haven’t rehearsed together yet at all… despite their run of stadium shows kicking off in July.
Older sibling Noel, 58, has been busy working on musical arrangements and fine-tuning the set list ahead of the first concert in Cardiff on July 4.
It’s believed the opening and closing songs have also been finalised, as the gigs will begin with Acquiesce before ending with the classic Champagne Supernova, which will undoubtedly delight crowds.
As for Liam, 52, it’s claimed he’s yet to get in the studio with Noel, with whom he hasn’t performed for over 15 years.
This includes fellow performers Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Mikey Rowe.

However, not everyone is convinced by the explanation, given that Liam and Noel managed to arrive separately to film an Adidas ad last month before also leaving at different times, which they could also do with tour rehearsals.
Instead, Liam – who is set to become a grandfather for the first time in a matter of months – is chilling at his £4million mansion in the South of France with his girlfriend, Debbie Gwyther.
Comment nowAre you seeing Oasis on tour?Comment NowAs per an insider, it’s said the Oasis double act are taking the ‘Rolling Stones protocol’ on board for their own tour, which refers to how rock legends Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards would be kept apart as much as possible to avoid friction, given that they slept with one another’s girlfriends and had personal beef.
So, it seems Liam and Noel hope their operation will run much more smoothly by following in their footsteps, despite there being barely any time left until their 41-date, hotly anticipated tour begins this summer.
Expanding on what could possibly jeopardise the tour’s success, a source added: ‘Everyone knows that with Liam’s personality, hostilities could break out at any moment.
Sources insist Liam doesn’t need much rehearsal time (Picture: Paul Bergen/Redferns) …but will it all go to plan on opening night? (Picture: Joerg Koch/DDP/AFP via Getty Images)‘If Noel takes the bait, then there could easily be a meltdown.’
The insider added that Liam is keen to ‘rest’ his voice at the moment; hence, he’s been ‘relaxing’ and ‘spending time with his mum, Peggy,’ before the madness ensues.
And while things are still appearing a little frosty, there is reason to be hopeful the creases will be ironed out in the coming weeks to avoid an awkward atmosphere on stage.
‘They will jam and work out a set list, and Liam will be the last one to join in with the vocals,’ added the mole.
‘There is plenty of time and Liam is a born rock ‘n’ roll star who has lived and breathed these songs and performed a lot of them in his solo shows, so he doesn’t need much rehearsal.’
For their UK leg, the Wonderwall hitmakers will perform multiple shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

Surely it’ll be worth it, though, as Liam and Noel are estimated to rake in as much as £50million each from the reunion we all never thought would happen.
‘The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,’ their tour announcement said last August.
Oasis disbanded in August 2009 due to the tensions between Liam and Noel, with their conflict reaching boiling point just before a scheduled performance at V Festival.
