Mrs Hinch rushed to hospital with blood clot just weeks after giving birth
The star revealed the news to her followers.

Sophie Hinchliffe, best known as Mrs Hinch, has revealed to her followers that she has been rushed to hospital with a blood clot in her leg.
The cleaning guru, 35, revealed to her fans on social media that three weeks after the birth of her third child, she was taken into hospital for surgery.
‘I had a blood clot in my groin/pelvis/leg area,’ she told her followers on her Instagram story on Thursday night.
‘I haven’t had one since 2018, and then another one decides to hit me three weeks postpartum. What a 12 months it’s been.’
The star added that she’d managed to have an emergency operation to resolve the medical situation.
‘They managed to go in through my leg. They didn’t go through in my neck in the end.
‘They hoovered out the blood clot, and they hoovered my stents out. They’ve literally hoovered me, which is ironic, isn’t it?’ She then joked, ‘Wasn’t a Shark.’
The star updated her fans from her hospital bed (Picture: @mrshinchhome)‘I think I’ve still got quite a lot of painkillers or anaesthetic in my system, so I’m probably not making sense.’
She explained that she wanted to tell her fans that she was in the hospital as to not worry people who were messaging her. She added that she wouldn’t be in for too much longer.
‘I can go home tomorrow. They’ve said I can go home tomorrow, and I can’t wait to smell my boys. Pick up Vinnie, that newborn smell.
‘Oh my god, I feel like I’m taking withdrawal symptoms from him.’
‘I’ve had a lovely FaceTime with the boys, that was amazing, and I should be back home in my newborn bubble with my little family tomorrow.’
The star encouraged fans to advocate for themselves as she revealed that she was sent home by doctors at first.
‘I got put through a CT scan, and they said there’s no blood clot, you can go home. I went home; my leg got bigger and bigger.
‘I came back to a different hospital, and they scanned me and said we need to operate, you’ve got a big blood clot.’
She added: ‘How mad is that? And that keeps playing on my mind. What if I didn’t come back?
‘Just trust your gut, guys. Trust your bloody gut. Anyway, over and out from me and blood clot.’
In 2022, the star opened up about her blood clotting disorder, telling followers: ‘Basically, I have a blood disorder – so my blood clots really easily. I’m always on blood thinners, and I have had a blood clot in the past.’
Mrs Hinch has an inherited condition called Protein S deficiency and Factor V Leiden, which makes her more likely to develop blood clots and can sometimes cause bruised skin.
