Netflix fans have days to binge ‘best comedy ever’ before gutting removal
Cool, cool, cool.

One of the biggest comedies is about to be removed from Netflix , meaning viewers have just a few more days to watch it – but there’s a twist in store.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine ran for eight seasons in total between 2013 and 2021, with SNL icon Andy Samberg leading the cast alongside Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Andre Braugher, Chelsea Peretti, Melissa Fumero, and Joe Lo Truglio.
Fans were thrilled when the first four seasons of the police sitcom were finally released on the streaming service in the US last February and immediately set about bingeing the episodes.
However, there is a huge change coming for the available episodes for users based in America.
The first two seasons are leaving the platform next week, with viewers only having until February 25 to watch them.
In a shake-up, bosses are instead adding the fifth and sixth seasons on February 26.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine became an instant hit when it premiered more than a decade ago, and it currently boasts a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score of 95%.
Fans couldn’t help but rave about the series on the platform, with Jaiden R penning: ‘Best show I’ve ever seen, hands-down, probably better than 9-1-1.
‘This show is just definition of a perfection,’ Laze T agreed.

Amy S added: ‘This show is a forever favourite for me. All of its characterisation, wholesome storytelling and genius comedic writing make it an easy repeat watch for me.
‘It’s the show that brought light into my dark times. So it’s a thank you from me.’

The series became an instant classic, with star-studded cameos and hugely quotable scenes – it ended in 2021 after eight years.
In the time since, the cast had previously expressed how much they would love to reprise their roles eventually – but this changed after Braugher’s death in 2023.
The beloved actor died at the age of 61, following a battle with lung cancer, and his castmates were among the first to pay tribute.
Andre Braugher, who played Raymond Holt, died in 2023 (Picture: Fox)Fumero, who played detective Amy Santiago, was recently questioned on whether the squad could return for a reboot, and insisted that they wouldn’t be able to reprise their roles without Braugher.
‘Oh gosh. We’ve definitely all played with the idea, and we definitely all miss each other so much, and miss spending our days together,’ she told ScreenRant.
‘I don’t think we could ever do it, though, without Andre, so I don’t know that that would happen.
‘I hope to work in other things with everyone. Stephanie and I have a podcast together now, and I think we’ll just always be looking for ways to work together again.’
