The BBC is said to be ‘over the moon’ they have secured Alison Hammond to present a reboot of a huge game show.

The This Morning star, 50, will reportedly follow in the footsteps of the late Dale Winton and Strictly’s Anton Du Beke as host of Hole in the Wall.

The show originally ran for two seasons from 2008 until 2009 but the BBC is reportedly reviving it because it received ‘great ratings.’

The broadcaster also wanted ‘in-demand’ Alison for the gig and it is said she ‘jumped at the chance.’

A source told The Sun: ‘Hole In The Wall got great ratings when it first came out so the Beeb have decided to bring it back.

‘They are currently filming the pilot to see how it shapes up. They wanted to sign Alison and she jumped at the chance to do it.
