Netflix is days from dropping ‘pulse-pounding’ Korean TV crime thriller
The countdown is on!

Netflix viewers are counting down to watch a new Korean crime thriller that will be released very soon.
This week the trailer for Karma dropped – showing an unsettling series of events.
The series follows the ‘intertwined lives of six characters whose fateful decisions plunge them into a relentless cycle of retribution’.
The teaser begins with a man opening a document and then being instructed by another that he needs to kill someone.
A female doctor is then shown screaming in a hospital as a man with serious burns is raced to emergency before it cuts to a couple arguing after hitting someone with their car.

It’s then teased the group is ‘twisted by fate and doomed by destiny’ before dramatic scenes show a huge fire, a man being pursued by police and the doctor holding a scalpel looking like she’s considering a terrible act.

The story revolves around a witness to an accident, a physician traumatized by nightmares, a man whose world was upended by an unexpected event, and another man drowning in private loans. Each one is bound by the inescapable ties of a terrible destiny, weaving a gripping crime thriller following those trapped by ill-fated entanglements.’
After watching the trailer, many shared their thoughts on the upcoming release.
‘Can’t wait for this! Karma and crime mixing together always makes for a wild ride with unexpected turns,’ Ali posted on X.
‘It sounds like a thrilling journey! I can already see the tension rising with such a great cast. I’m eager to watch how their stories turn out. April 4th will definitely be noted on my calendar!’ user Silhouette shared.

Karma has been adapted from Kakao webtoon Karma and written and directed by Lee Il-hyung, who made the box office hit A Violent Prosecutor.
The main characters include a desperate debtor who uncovers a 500 million won insurance policy on his father’s life and begins plotting, a woman who comes face-to-face with the source of her darkest nightmares and a reckless driver who tries to erase evidence of his crime, only to find himself at the mercy of a witness demanding hush money.
Park Hae-soo plays the Witness, Shin Min-a as Ju-yeon, Lee Hee-jun as the Debtor, Kim Sung-kyun as Gil-ryong and Lee Kwang-soo (Running Man) plays Glasses while Gong Seung-yeon is Yu-jeong.
Karma is streaming on Netflix from April 4.
