Katy Perry is about to make history, and she’ll add a bit of ‘spice’ while doing it.
The ET singer, 40, is just one day away from embarking on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin history-making space trip, and a surprising new detail about the all-female crew’s spacesuits has been revealed.
Sharing an image on Instagram, the star showed off her and the crew’s tailor-made blue suits, with an insider revealing what’s hiding underneath them: Skims underwear.
Thinking of everything, right down to the nitty-gritty, the Amazon boss’ fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, had the suits redesigned to not only fit a woman but to ‘bring a little spice to space’.
Her collaborators, Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, who are the creative directors of Oscar de la Renta and co-founders of the brand Monse, told the New York Times that Lauren thought of everything and knew exactly who to call when it came to supplying the women’s underwear, her celeb pal, Kim Kardashian.
Fernando told the news outlet: ‘We even had a meeting on what underwear Lauren is going to wear…to which she responded: “Skims!”‘
