All five episodes of Disney Plus crime drama The Stolen Girl, which has left fans ‘on the edge of their seats’ and is produced by the same team who made Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once, are now available to stream.
It stars Denise Gough and Jim Sturgess as couple, Elisa and Fred, whose perfect family life is upturned when their daughter goes missing after a sleepover.
Also in The Stolen Girls cast are One Day’s Ambika Mod, The Capture and Strike’s Holliday Granger and The Suspect star Bronagh Waugh.
On X, viewers have devoured the entire series, despite it being a ‘mother’s worst fear come to life on screen.
As @Lasell_83 put it: ‘Had the honour of screening #TheStolenGirl on @DisneyPlus & let me tell you this show doesn’t waste any time grabbing your attention & keeping you on the edge of your seat from the start. As a mother this show is my worst fear come to life on screen.’

I thoroughly enjoyed this; it had twists and turns galore and was pretty much unpredictable. If these TV companies CAN make stuff like this, why is there so much rubbish on our screens?’
Echoing their sentiment, Emmie Bowen said: ‘Really good show, would definitely recommend, finished in a couple hours, really good and exciting ending.’
Helen McGuire added: ‘Fantastic twists and turns…a well-acted, written drama. Highly worth a watch.’
The Stolen Girl is not the only thriller gripping Disney Plus viewers.
They have also praised Paradise, created by Dan Fogelman, the creative genius behind film Crazy, Stupid, Love and TV series This Is Us, as ‘the watercooler TV show of 2025.’

Starring James Marsden and Sterling K Brown, the eight episodes take viewers along the twists and turns of the high-stakes investigation.
According to Variety, the series was a huge hit and premiered to 7,000,000 views in the first nine days.
Viewers have also raved about Paradise, with X user @changethetidess saying: ‘Just watched the premiere of #Paradise on Hulu! The twist at the end had me slapping my knee and saying “no way!” So good. Want another episode right away.’
@NLinnane exclaimed: ‘I’m predicting #Paradise on Hulu will be the water cooler tv show of 2025. Episode 1 was better than good.’
Echoing their sentiment, @Legobro said: ‘#ParadiseHulu just blew my mind, it is excellent.’
