00s girl band thrill fans with upcoming unreleased single as part of long-awaited reunion
Fans' prayers have been answered.

An iconic British girl group from the 00s have confirmed a full reunion with an upcoming album and new single, much to the delight of their fans.
Supersister, who blazed briefly but brightly at the turn of the millennium with their hit single Coffee, revealed in October that they would be coming together again to perform at this summer’s Mighty Hoopla.
Now, it’s been revealed that ahead of that no doubt triumphant performance from members Eleanor Phillips, Louise Fudge and Tina Peacock, Supersister also has new music coming – finally.
A post on the hitmaking band’s official Instagram account announced ‘big news’, sharing in a post: ‘Supersister is BACK! ????✨ 25 years later, it’s finally happening… They’re back with their brand-new single ‘Lock Your Boyfriends Up’, dropping on 7th March! The countdown starts NOW. Are you ready? ????’
Alongside Coffee – which placed at number 16 in October 2000 and stayed in the chart for seven weeks – Supersister’s other singles were Shopping and Summer Gonna Come Again.
The announcement over the weekend was accompanied by a video of member Fudge – who now also runs an award-winning hair salon – opening her front door and introducing the announcement while holding her pet pooch.

They were also busy supporting the likes of Steps and Hear’Say on tour in 2001.
However, their debut album never made release after their label Gut Records went bankrupt in 2008, and Supersister had been looking to sign a record deal in the US before deciding to call time on the group.
