Amanda Holden has had an impressive lengthy career in the spotlight, from performing at the West End to having a cameo in EastEnders – but there’s one gig she’d happily do if her showbiz dreams went ‘t**s up.’

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 53, started acting in amateur productions at the age of nine, but has taken dozens of different part-time jobs over the years before becoming a household name.

The TV personality – who is gearing up for her 18th year on the ITV talent show – stressed that she would do anything as long as it gives her a steady income.

Including going back to being a cashier at Tescos.

Describing herself as a ‘waitress that got lucky,’ Amanda added: ‘If it all went t*** up tomorrow I’d be gutted, but I’d work as a cashier in Tesco again.’

Every little helps!

She told The Daily Mail, according to Daily Express: ‘It’s about self-preservation, dignity and keeping going.

‘I’ve waitressed, cleaned, made beds, picked fruit – anything I could to earn a living” she said, before adding ‘within reason.’

Well it looks like Amanda is sitting pretty for now as she recently celebratedthe launch of her BBC One travel series with the TV personality.

The 53-year-old flew to Italy with the comedian, 48, when they filmed their Italian Job TV show, which is set to become the Spanish job when the show moves to Spain in the next season.

Chatty Man Alan recently revealed that his travel companion was partial to a glass of rosé on the plane, but wasn’t able to enjoy it in the exact fashion that Amanda prefers.
