Amazon Prime viewers have just days left to binge what’s been called one of the best shows ever.

American teen drama Wildfire aired for four seasons between 2005 and 2008, starring Genevieve Cortese as troubled teen Kris Furillo.

Kris is given the chance to turn her life around after serving time at a teen detention centre for grand theft auto.

After her talents with horses are spotted, she earns a role at a family-run branch, owned by the Ritters.

But while she’s balancing trying to fit in, forming new relationships with the horses and those around her, Kris steps in to save the Ritters’ ranch from financial ruin and bring them to the forefront of horse racing.

The synopsis for the first series reads: ‘Kris Furillo gets her first chance at responsibility with a job on the Ritter family ranch, where she befriends a horse named Wildfire.

‘She is soon swept up in a complicated world of ruthless competition, dark secrets and love.

‘Wildfire remains her one true friend, and their ability to achieve the impossible together creates the hope and strength to face a challenging future.’

Wildfire was cancelled after four seasons due to dwindling ratings, leaving fans devastated.

And they’ve now just got 12 days to catch up before it’s taken off Amazon Prime.

Several viewers have compared the series to the likes of beloved teen dramas One Tree Hill and The OC, with one IMdB review calling it ‘the best show I have ever seen’.
