Cameron Diaz, 52, all smiles in first public outing with 11-month-old baby
The actress recently made her comeback to the screen.
Cameron Diaz was spotted looking cheery while stepping out in public for the first time with 11-month-old son Cardinal.
The 52-year-old actress, who recently made her comeback to the screen, rocked an oversized white shirt, baggy trousers, and a black hat in Santa Barbara, California.
Cameron’s bundle of joy had his face blurred, but the former romcom queen appeared to be in high spirits as she walked to her car.
The Holiday icon and husband Benji Madden confirmed the birth of their son last year March on Instagram.
They wrote at the time: ‘We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here!
‘For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute.

Cameron and Benji – who married in January 2015 – welcomed daughter Raddix in 2019.
The couple’s Instagram announcement about Cardinal’s arrival was showered with love and support from fans and friends alike, with Katy Perry writing: ‘Another Earth angel’, and Benji’s brothers Joel and Josh posting a series of hearts.
The Bad Teacher actress previously gushed about what a great dad Benji is.

Speaking to chat show host Jimmy Fallon, she said: ‘He’s like, Benj at home, being the best dad ever and running all of his businesses, and then he just gets up there [on stage] and he’s like, “Yeah, all right, pyro! Pfft”.
‘Yeah, he makes up — he has, honestly, I’m like, “Why don’t we just…you need to do a kids’ album,” because he has the best songs.
‘They play in my head all the time because he sings them to her and she knows the words. And it’s the sweetest thing ever. It really is. It’s so…it kills me.’
Following an 11-year hiatus away from the big screen. Cameron returned for Netflix’s critically panned action comedy Back In Action alongside Jamie Foxx.

The star ditched the glitz and glam of Hollywood for just over a decade and attributed the break to taking time to raise her family.
In an interview with Still Watching Netflix, she explained: ‘[In 2014] I was not keeping up with any kind of training. I did nothing public. I said no to everything.’
She added: ‘I [was] being a mum and living my day-to-day. I [was just] trying to stay alive just like every other mother. I’m just trying to keep it going.’
Cameron and her husband of 10 years Benji Madden have two children, a daughter named Raddix, 5, and Cardinal.
The Holiday actress previously explained that Dreamgirls star Jamie was the only reason she returned to the spotlight.
She told Empire in the interview: ”I thought that if I was going to come back and do a movie, the only person I’d come back and do it with would be this guy.’
‘Seriously. I had other opportunities along the way and I was always saying, “No. I’m not doing it, I’ve told you… What? Jamie asked? Jamie? Oh, I can do a movie with Jamie!”’
Cameron has appeared in countless films over the years, including the Holiday, Shrek Charlie’s Angels and My Best Friend’s Wedding.
