Celebrity Big Brother fans have same complaint after ‘new season shake up’
What do you think?

Celebrity Big Brother is imminently returning for another year of chaos, but fans are unimpressed after reports of an unconventional change.
The hit series is reportedly returning to screens in April through as our motley crew of (still unknown) famous faces take up residence at UK reality TV’s most famous house for three weeks of chaotic shenengiansobserved by the nation.
After a six year hiatus, the show returned last year hosted by AJ Odudu andWIll Best, making this the second season of the celebrity version at its new home withITV.
Now it has been reported that its usual airtime of 9pm will be scrapped on Sunday’s and pushed to a later 10pm slot to account for ITV’s new initiative, New Drama Sundays.
The recently-launched scheme means a new drama takes the 9-10pm slot, most recently occupied by season five of The Bay and set to be taken over by six-part thriller Protection.
Although the official April ITV guide is yet to be released, TV Zone understands this will continue throughout the duration of Celebrity Big Brother.
The ITV reboot is hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best (Picture: Vianney Le Caer/Shutterstock)This would also mean that the after-show special, Late and Live, would run until after midnight.
As for the rest of the days (Monday to Friday), it’s likely to maintain its usual slot.
The news has left many fans disappointed.
‘It is ridiculous putting it on so late at night, won’t even bother watching late and live now. I really hope it is only on that late on Sundays otherwise I will be so gutted to miss late and live each day,’ Laura wrote on X.
‘Before we know it they’ll be sticking Big Brother on ITV4 in the 11:45pm slot… STOP while you’re ahead ITV,’ teen of custard shared.
‘Nobody is staying up untill 11pm to watch this on a school/work night what is ITV thinking,’ lily said.
‘Say bye bye to those early Sunday nights,’ beyond brother commented.
Plenty of fans have expressed dismay at a late Sunday night runtime (Picture: Shutterstock for Big Brother)‘That is way past my bedtime sir,’ Chloe echoed.
’10pm on a work night……..,’ Dallas Blu said.
‘Some of us struggle to stay up past 10pm,’ Georgina Rose agreed.
‘Some of us have jobs! We need to sleep!’ Gemma harris posted.
Not everyone was pessimistic about the rumoured change.
‘Ugh, they already give us a short series – now they’re messing with timings. What next?’ Nicole 2.0 summed up.
‘Why are people kicking off about this? BBUK fans have been watching the show at 10pm for years. It probably won’t rate brilliantly but it’s hardly a disaster,’ RobInnes87 defended.
And others tried to offer other solutions like moving the show to ITV2 to give it free reign of timings, putting up a live feed on Sundays or using ITVX to air the 9pm drama.
It’s not the only change for the new season. Behind the scenes the TV house has relocated from Garden Studios in Harlesden, West London to Titan Studios just short distance away.
Per The Sun, the live eviction set and studio-adjacent garden have been rebuilt.
Daley Thompson is one of the rumoured stars of the upcoming season (Picture: Getty)As for who is going to be involved in the new season, we won’t find up the cast until the show starts airing.
But there are plenty of rumours as to who will make part of the line-up.
This includes: Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd, Olympic winner Daley Thompson, MAFS star Ella Morgan and Love Islander Chris Hughes.
It’s understood that The Traitors winner Harry Clarke turned down an offer to join, instead opting to take part in BBC series, Pligrimage which sees a group of celebrities make a historical (you guessed it) pilgrimage.
Whoever does join will be following in the footsteps of a proactive last season cast which featured SharonOsbourne and Louis Walsh, Love Island’s Ekin-Su and the ultime winner, Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts.
