Danny Jones’ wife Georgia returns to social media after Maura Higgins ‘kiss’

Georgia Horsley has returned to Instagram following the supposed ‘kiss’ between her husband Danny Jones and Maura Higgins after the Brit Awards.
The McFly musician, 38, who has been married to wife Georgia since 2014, appeared to kiss Love Island star Maura, 34, when they were attending Universal Music’s Brit Awards after-party.
The pair spent the night together at the event, with onlookers then filming them appearing to share the intimate moment around 3am.
Sources said Danny and Maura, who is single after her recent split from The Only Way is Essex and Strictly star Pete Wicks, ‘seemed to be having a great time’ before sharing a ‘brief drunken kiss.’
A media frenzy and plenty of speculation among fans quickly followed, but Maura, Danny, and Georgia have remained auspiciously out of the public eye and have not commented on the incident.
Now, Georgia has returned to social media for the first time since the scandal broke, posting a picture of her son Cooper wearing sunglasses and playing on a Nintendo Switch.
Though the post didn’t include a caption or any reference to the incident initially, fans and friends were quick to offer their support to Georgia in the comments – at first.
But after the picture was up for about an hour, Georgia turned comments on the post off completely and added a caption of a blue heart emoji.
The post comes after Maura was spotted arriving in Los Angeles just one week after the alleged kiss.
The former Love Island star is seemingly taking a break from the UK and the relentless scrutiny surrounding the apparent incident with her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! co-star.
After the footage of the kiss went viral online, additional reports emerged that the pair were seen at the Sony party in Nobu Hotel where they were ‘still grinning and joking about’. It has been claimed by Daily Mail that they ‘stayed up until 6am drinking wine’.

Pete, who was also an attendee at the Universal afterparty, is reportedly glad they parted ways when they did.
An insider close to Pete, 36, told OK! Magazine: ‘This sort of attention is exactly what Pete doesn’t want.
‘He’s seen this sort of media circus happen when he was on Towie and it’s not the sort of relationship he wants.’

Meanwhile, while Maura decompresses in California, Danny and Georgia have reportedly been locked in crisis talks this week following the shock kiss, and are mostly keeping a low profile with Georgia pulling out of a public Q&A at The Baby Show this weekend.
The Sun reported Georgia is ‘humiliated’ by the betrayal but claimed the couple are putting the whole thing behind them and working to repair their relationship.
A source told the news outlet: ‘Danny and Georgia have been together for a long time and have spoken about that night. They are keen to just move past it and get on with their lives.

Meanwhile, sources claim the kiss has had a surprise outcome for Maura, as she is reportedly at the top of Channel 4’s list to join the next season of Celebs Go Dating.
For Danny’s part, he hasn’t yet returned to his social media platforms but has appeared on TV in a pre-recorded segment.
