Gogglebox star Amy Tapper shows off jaw-dropping 5-stone weight loss
She's been undergoing a health kick over the past three years.
Amy Tapper has declared she ‘couldn’t be happier’ after losing five stone.
From 2013 until 2018 Amy, alongside her parents Jonathan and Nikki and brother Josh, were couch critics on the Channel 4 show Gogglebox.
She was 13 when they joined the series, with Amy previously speaking about facing bullying about her weight for the first time when appearing on national TV.
However, a few years ago she decided to undertake a health kick on her own terms and has been sharing updates on social media since then.
This week Amy. 24, posted another progress photo, expressing her excitement about what she’d achieved through exercise and health eating.
‘Officially 5 stone down and I couldn’t be happier????,’ she said.

‘Thank you for being by my side throughout it all,’ she added, tagging her personal trainer Tash.
Sharing a photo of her progress, Amy also posted a video with her trainer as she steps onto the scales before the pair hug and dance after seeing the number.

As Catrina put it too: ‘Amy you were beautiful before and still beautiful now, but you are doing amazing. Well done xx.’
Amy’s health journey began at the start of 2022 when she shared she’d ‘kick started’ the year by losing 33cm from her waist in five weeks.
It came after she’d tried ‘every diet under the sun’ and had struggled to maintain any weight loss.

‘Most of the time they mean well but there can be nasty comments as well. Luckily I have some amazing supportive people around me, so I have been able to deal with it.
‘More recently it has come full circle with people on my social media sharing in my weight loss journey and sharing their goals and progress too. It’s an amazing feeling when they thank me for being their inspiration,’ she added when speaking to the Daily Mail.
Soon after Amy said she was in ‘the best mental and physical health I’ve ever been’ and thanked others for ‘cheering me on and joining in’.
