Hospitalised Jesy Nelson shares update after weeks-long silence during complicated twins pregnancy
The former Little Mix star was warned her babies could die.

Jesy Nelson has shared a positive health update with her fans after undergoing emergency surgery with her twin babies.
The pregnant pop star, 33, announced earlier this year that she and boyfriend Zion Foster, 25, are expecting two little ones together.
However, the former Little Mix member has had a complicated pregnancy, to say the least.
In her previous update in early March, Jesy revealed that her unborn babies were at risk of dying, explaining in an emotional video that they were ‘living off one placenta’.
At the time, she said she was at pre-stage TTTS (twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome) and was being monitored closely, having scans twice a week.
Now, to mark Mother’s Day, the Boyz hitmaker has returned to social media with a high-spirited video message, filmed inside her hospital room.
‘We just wanted to give you guys an update, as we know it’s been a while,’ she began.
‘I don’t know if you can see, but we are still in hospital, I’ve been recovering, but we have some amazing news.
‘The TTTS has cleared up; the operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible. We are so, so lucky to have the most amazing doctors.’
She continued: ‘Basically, the situation we’re in now is my cervix is very, very short, so I can’t leave the hospital because my waters could break at any point and I’m still very, very early.’
‘I can’t leave the hospital until I’m a certain amount of weeks, so every week we’re just like, “Please, please, please, stay in there!”,’ she begged, grabbing her belly.
Jesy added that she and Zion are ‘so grateful’ to still have their unborn twins ‘going strong’.

He then had his own news to reveal, explaining that he will be running the London Marathon in just four weeks to raise money for the Twins Trust.
‘We spoke with them and we heard so much about the amazing work that they do for twins, for families of twins, for midwives, and they literally save lives.
‘With Jess going through what she’s going through, as much as I’m going through it too, I feel like I’m not really carrying the babies… this was my way of saying, “I’m gonna throw myself in the deep end!”‘
The couple also kindly requested that fans donate whatever they can to the organisation.
