Inside Jonathan Ross’ private life including wife of 37 years, children and quirky home

Tonight, Jonathan Ross is back on our TV screens to host the next series of his chatshow on ITV.

He’ll once again be joined by a variety of talented guests discussing their upcoming projects and sharing their wildest stories.

The 64-year-old comedian, presenter and producer first started hosting his programme The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV in 2011, after leaving the BBC where he hosted Friday Night with Jonathan Ross during the noughties.

The radio and TV star has been no stranger to controversies over his career, having once infamously asked David Cameron if he had any sexual fantasies about Margaret Thatcher, and his involvement in the Sachsgate scandal with Russell Brand more than 15 years ago.

And while he’s usually the one putting celebrities on the spot, we’re taking a deep dive into Jonathan’s personal life, including his podcast with his children and his famous sibling.

Who is Jonathan Ross’ wife?

Jonathan is married to writer Jane Goldman, who he met when she was aged 16, and he was 26. The pair married in August 1988, when she was 18.

Jane, now 53, began her career in journalism as a teenager, before working as a script writer, and has shared numerous credits with director Matthew Vaughn, including Kingsman: The Golden Circle and X-Men: First Class.

She has also worked as executive producer on Channel 4’s The Big Fat Quiz of the Year and written her own fictions books, as well as presented her own show in 2003, Jane Goldman Investigates, which delved into the paranormal.

Jane and Jonathan have three children together: Honey, Harvey and Betty.

Honey Kinney Ross is a body positivity activist and model, who boast more than 57,000 followers on Instagram.

Honey and Jonathan host a weekly podcast together, titled Reel Talk with Honey and Jonathan Ross, where they debrief on all things film.

The youngest of the family, Honey, 26, and her partner Zane Saz joined Jonathan on Celebrity Gogglebox in 2021, alongside Jonathan’s eldest son Harvey, 29.

Jonathan is also dad to Betty Kitten, 32, who he is often pictured with, and has previously spoken about her Fibromyalgia diagnosis, a debilitating condition that causes pain all over the body.

As well as showing a peak inside their home on Celebrity Gogglebox, Jonathan often shares snaps of their Hampstead residence on social media.

But it’s not quite what you would expect…

One room is filled with collectibles, figurines and memorabilia from films like Godzilla and recent additions dedicated to Dune.

The walls are entirely covered with fan-favourite merch, while a stunning white gaming chair sits in the middle, in perfect view of his impressive collections.

Jonathan once showed off his vast toy collection in a special episode of Antiques Roadshow, where he said he was ‘aware that this is not healthy’.

He said on the programme: ‘Here’s the thing: the difference between a collector and a hoarder in my mind is a hoarder just saves everything any which way and can’t let anything go.

‘Whereas a collector knows what they have knows where they are, knows why they have it, and can release them back into the wild occasionally.’

Jonathan continued: ‘When I come here, the minute I walk in there, no matter what else is happening in my life, where there might be family pressures or work pressures, I feel that burden lifted because this is a very safe space.

‘For me, It’s a very lovely space. And everywhere I look there are things that I love.’

Jonathan has elsewhere shared peeks of other parts of their home, including their all white, minimalist bedroom with plants dotted around the bed.

Last year, the family also gave us a look into the lavish garden with a barbecue area and covered patio for outdoor celebrations.

Who are Jonathan Ross’ siblings?

While Jonathan might be the breakout star of the family, his siblings are all involved in the entertainment industry too.

His brothers are TV presenter Paul Ross, who has hosted Jeopardy!, actor Miles Ross, TV producer Simon Ross and Adam Ross, who works in the music industry.

Meanwhile, Jonathan’s sister Liza is an actress, who has starred in the likes of Leap Year, and his late mum Martha had a role in EastEnders for 21 years.
