Who is Stacey Dooley’s husband Kevin Clifton? The couple were partners on Strictly in 2018 (Picture: BBC)In 2018, Stacey was one of the celebrity contestants in BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The star won the competition with her partner Kevin Clifton and they both claim they were entirely platonic during this time and they did not fall for the infamous Strictly curse.
Kevin was in the middle of a divorce with his ex-wife Karen Hauer and Stacey was in a three-year-long relationship.
In April 2019, rumours that Stacey and Kevin had begun a relationship began circulating.
Stacey’s ex claimed he had seen a text from Kevin on her phone, but she maintained she did not start a romance with Kevin until their relationship was over.

In March 2020, Kevin quit Strictly and a month later they moved in together to spend lockdown with one another.
In April 2021, Stacey opened up about their relationship and said while she’s not that interested in getting married she would be interested in starting a family. ‘I don’t think I want to get married,’ she said. ‘I think I’d be more interested in starting a family than getting married.’
The couple has never tied the knot, and rarely comment on their romantic relationship, but what they have said is rather adorable.
On her first Mother’s Day, Kevin paid tribute to the star with a touching message.
‘I’ve watched my girl @sjdooley become an absolute superwoman over the last couple of months (as if she wasn’t already).
‘The most wonderful mum to our daughter Minnie. Love you baby. Happy 1st Mother’s Day ❤️????.’
Kevin also previously told Metro about Stacey and her parenting, describing her as ‘an amazing role model.’
Does Stacey Dooley have any children?Three years after they started dating, Kevin and Stacey announced they were expecting their first child together. She admitted she feels ‘very lucky’ over the pregnancy, saying that, at 35, ‘you never take it for granted.’
Taking to Instagram, a clearly excited Stacey shared a polaroid snap of her cradling her bump and wrote: ‘
‘Gaaaaaaang….. We are having a baby! ???? So bl**dy delighted.
‘Kev, you’re magic, I love youuuu. ❤ (Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I’ve had my t*ts done in LA I’m gonna scream ????) Here goessssssss.’

Kevin has been married three times but Minnie is his only daughter. He married Anna Melnikova, his former professional dance partner in 2003.
Kevin then tied the knot with Clare Craze in 2007, and they divorced in 2013. In 2015, he married Strictly star Karen Hauer and the pair split in 2018.
