Jeff Brazier launches legal bid to ‘keep son safe’ from Jade Goody’s mum
TV presenter Jeff Brazier 'wants to keep his son safe'

Jeff Brazier has reportedly launched a legal bid to prevent his son Freddy, 20, from seeing his maternal grandmother Jackiey Budden.
The TV presenter, who is the ex of the late Jade Goody, is said to be taking action to ‘legally block contact’ between his son and former Big Brother star Jackiey, 68.
According to The Sun, the move has been made by Jeff, 45, in a bid to ‘keep his son safe’. He has reportedly hired a leading barrister for an upcoming hearing.
A source told the publication: ‘This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep Freddy safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his well being for a long time now.
‘The fact that he is going down this route shows how concerned we all our and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people.’

Last year, father and son Freddy and Jeff appeared together on Celebrity Race Across The World where they discussed the loss of Jade.
Speaking about his relationship with his dad, Freddy said: ‘At times where I’ve pushed him away he has pulled even harder to pull me back in.
‘I don’t think I praise my dad enough for everything he has done for me but he knows the love.’

He said: ‘I lost my mum when I was four and that was on Mother’s Day, which is really hard. I don’t really like showing my emotions. I don’t even speak to my dad much about my mum either. I just avoid it. I prefer to bottle it up.
‘I don’t want to feel like I’m a burden to them. A lot of my memories that I have of my mum have come from watching a documentary, YouTube clips, newspapers, they are not my memories.’
While holding back tears, he continued: ‘I don’t really remember being held by my mum. If I had more memories of her, it would have made it a whole lot harder for me.
‘But I think I would rather that than not really remember the things that I had done with my mum. It’s just life really and I’ve kind of accepted that.’

In October 2017, Jeff became engaged to his girlfriend Kate Dwyer, and the couple married in Portugal in 2018.
They announced their split in December 2022; however, they rekindled their relationship seven months later
